Newcastle have strengthened at he back but nothing extra going forward. It’s a hell of a gamble that they can win games without any sort of attacking threat.

Its funny because they actually believe the crap they are spouting.

And this is what they do. They create an image of the club, then they do whatever it takes to hype it up and make it fit their image.

If you had told them on takeover day that their January window would include Chris Wood, Dan Burn and Targett, they'd have laughed at you. They'd have told you that the Saudis were ambitious beyond that.

But the reality is their window does include Dan Burn, Chris Wood and Targett. So now they need to make the agenda that these are great signings that show intent from their owners.

Truth is, they're an expensive gamble. I think they've done enough to stay up. But if they go down... thats an expensive bunch of flops

Shambles of a transfer window for 'tha richest clerb in the werld'.

Apart from Trippier they've signed 3 bottom half of the table plodders and a largely unknown Brazilian with 3 caps at 24.

All the talk of better players like Lingaard, Van Da Beek, Alli and Henderson has resulted in the grand total of fuck all. Man Utd have owned them 😂

They're still going down for me!
They started the window well, I think Trippier is a good signing.

Wood will score a few but he’s no better than a lower prem forward. He’s so far from what the scum hoped for, it’s funny.

The Brazilian kid does look to be a good signing although I’m reliant on people that know the craic as I haven’t seen anything of him.

Burn bang average but will do a better job than some of the shite at the back they have.

Targett seems to blow hot and cold. And he’s only on loan …. and only became available because Villa signed the mags’ preferred target in Digne.

The thing is, the scum we’re expecting Galacticos and ended up with a rag tag bunch of whoever was available. Their transfer strategy has been embarrassing for the richest club in the world. Their fans will spin it though and be full of praise for their new owners.

:) imagine if you had told them that would be their January business when they were jumping around like gonks outside the landfill the day the takeover went through. Sold their souls and made themselves look like the biggest wankers in the world for matt target and dan burn

The funny thing is, if they had signed these players under Ashley and Bruce they'd have been complaining and up in arms

Now they're desperately trying to convince themselves that they're quality signings.

Wood is literally in the worst form of his career. He's totally out of sorts. I saw a bit of him down Leeds, he was miles of the pace. He's scored 3 goals all season and none since November.

🤮🤮🤮🤮

Henchman for one of the most evil men on the planet. Such high calibre:

Yasir al-Rumayyan, the new non-executive chairman of Newcastle United, was involved in a controversial “anti-corruption” campaign in Saudi Arabia that included the transfer of assets on behalf of the crown prince, .
Details of Rumayyan’s role – including the transfer of a charter jet company to the Public Investment Fund (PIF), where he serves as governor – are contained in court documents that shed light on his relationship with Prince Mohammed.

One of 20 seized companies, the documents show, was a charter jet company that was later alleged to have been used in the Saudi plot to kill Jamal Khashoggi.

Here’s what a neutral onlooker made of the man, and the way the mags saluted him:

Even so, the rapturous welcome offered to Al-Rumayyan a few minutes before kick-off will probably remain the most enduring image of the day: the sight of grown men opening their arms and exalting this affiliate of a thuggish autocracy as if he were some sort of god: saluting him, praising him, shaking their fists in ecstasy.

Haha piss off

Seen this lass pop up on here a few times, and she's almost always coming out with something moronic. 'Ruining Lingard's career' = another 6 months making intermittent appearances (with the possibility of a medal) at the biggest club in the country, after which he'll leave for nowt to a better team than her lot. He'd have picked West Ham over them anyway if Man Utd were willing to loan him out.
