Fair point, but I genuinely think it’s a real possibility
If this comes off you'll forever be the boards ITK.
If it doesn't your first ITK post will be branded as a lucky guess!
You will be vilified forever.
Genuinely wasn’t a guess, I was told from a very good source just before 7pm

What I will say about him is that when he was here he did a lot of good. The preparation, organisation, motivation was all good we seemed well drilled and the players liked playing or those who he selected. He bred ambition and the away days built team spirit. The weakness is obviously how he deals with the players who aren’t natural soldiers and how he works with his colleagues and superiors.

He's one of the giants of English football within the last 20 years. He was captain of a team that won about 20 trophies. Any player with half brain would know Roy Keane.

Thats not what he is saying though, they will know him, but if you are a 20 year old lad he doesnt hold the same stigma, thats just the reality

So they wouldn't respect a player of that pedigree? Bullshit.

I didnt say that, of course they would, but you know yourself as a fan, you have more affiliation to the players you watched as a kid than the ones who were big before you were born

just human nature, its not a conscious decision

It depends if you're a student of the game. I would have far more respect for Bobby Moore than an England captain of the 1990's.

Long term I don’t think he fits the model at all. But to get us through the next 18 games, could be a strong enough kick up the arse. Can’t see it happening.
