That tax paid figure (£481.7m) appears to have been on her earnings (i.e. the sums she paid herself for the year from what is effectively her company) of £8448m (which is almost £8.5billion) which - if I've got my sums right - is an effective tax rate of ~5.7%. well if your sleeping in a n nhs hospital or something you should..she helped pay for itI’ll sleep well tonight knowing that
oiwasnt positing to criticise..more to highlight her honesty in paying it..and the svale of her wealth in the context of football..far too many of our fans blatehr about us having a billioanire owner..as if its uniqueThe attention should be on those NOT paying substantial amounts of tax.
how do nyou know it should be more? yoiu dont know how much she earned..and her company also pays tax..her total contribution is far higher than the £480m..Good, it should be considerably more, but atleast they aren’t doing all they can to rob citizens of services like most of the rich. Shame it comes from nefarious sources though but neither of these things are her fault, that’s on the Government and electorate
No but I know what the top rate of income tax and corporation tax is in the UK.how do nyou know it should be more? yoiu dont know how much she earned..and her company also pays tax..her total contribution is far higher than the £480m..
as for nefarious activituies..gambling is a working class pursuit sneered at by middle class people..
many of those middle class who sneer at gambling think nothing of taking coke at the weekends for exmaple...somehting far more harmful to innocents than gambling ever could be
I’ll guess it’s a pop at the fans in some way. Those who expect the owner to fork out from his own pocketSo, what's your point?
denise coates firm does not have any bettting shops ior stores as you call them..No but I know what the top rate of income tax and corporation tax is in the UK.
I gamble, but bookies are currently set up to milk working class areas and take advantage of social problems, just look at the store distribution. It destroys some peoples lives. Bit like when you gambled on buying SAFC and made yourself look a right twat in those trousers.
