Lets be honest, the Mags have a massive fan base. We have that too in comparison to most of the country when you also take into consideration relative success. In fact, only Leeds have been tested like we have. and poss Sheff Wed. Some Newcastle fans (don't know what percentage) probably believe they have had their loyalty tested to a similar to degree. That ofcourse, is where the real delusion comes in.
Talk of empty seats, free tickets and the stadium is too big for you, is all well and good if you can't fill when successful, something we've tasted in the form of two 7th place finishes. That would be probably deemed a failure back in the Keegan or post Keegan days, with nothing but top 4 being the pre requisite. Their visit to the championship on two occasions of late, have been a walk in the park compared to what we've put up with, and to that matter, Leeds Utd. All under the stewardship of Ashley.
When i speak to other fans or read comments, listen in to various conversations, not only are a high majority appalled at the takeover on a humanitarian level, but they comment on the self entitled spoilt brat behaviour of their fan base. Obviously this isn't all of them, but this is an image they have cultivated since the 90s. There appears to be little humility or gallows(gate) humour. Just a stark self indulgence and importance about their relevance. They could have been much more revered by other footy fans, but this is a path that has been chosen, which will culminate in being the most disliked club in the country or most mocked for constant failure.
The only people supporting this takeover are blinkered fans and those who are ignorant to the crimes of Saudi Arabia. The ones who understand it all and yet still give it the thumbs up, should be truly ashamed of themselves and how far they have been dragged in by the lowness of our society at this point in time. They may as well vote Conservative. Then the transformation would be truly complete.

You can get safc for £300 of you buy early. The tickets up on level 7 are family. Ours behind the goal are approx £650. And we get less games

Well in your league it's very important to have as much income. Newcastle and Sunderland cannot and never could charge the prices of spurs and Chelsea. That means QPR Fulham and them also have a bit of a kick. We have numbers but not the cash
