‘Documents have been submitted at ’s High Court by Mr Ashley’s legal team, demanding the immediate return of the £10 million, plus interest, which he maintains was given to Ms Staveley to cover ‘advisory, legal and other costs and commissions,’ in return for sticking to the strict conditions.

Her long-time partner, Mehrdad Ghodoussi, a wealthy Iranian businessman is being sued as part of the proceedings in his role as guarantor that she would pay it back.’

So basically Staveley hasn’t got a pot to piss in
   shes going to turn out to be their donald and methvan

From the Mail:

Mike Ashley is suing the new co-owners of Newcastle United for breaking the conditions of a £10 million loan he gave them to enable its sale which stated that they would not publicly criticise his 14-year tenure of the club, MailOnline can reveal.

And here is a passage from that clown Caulkin’s pathetic Saudi PR piece for the Athletic, masquerading as journalism:

Inside the stadium and the training ground, Newcastle’s staff have been re-energised. “The mood has definitely changed,” one club employee says. “There is a sense of purpose again. At the start of the season, there was a lack of direction, a feeling nothing would ever get better. The place was unhappy, with few people really feeling like anything was ever going to improve long term.

“‘Zombie club’ is an accurate description of what it was like before. There was the pandemic, furlough, work-from-home orders, a lack of communication. That was transformed almost overnight. It’s strange because nothing material has really changed, certainly nothing significant, but it feels like things can or will get better.”

If it turns out that worm Caulkin has inadvertently put Staveley at risk of bankruptcy while doing some sportswashing for her, I think I might die laughing 😂

Would love this to be true, absolutely awful attitude the past few years playing for top managers at a CL club, you can only imagine what he'd be like in a relegation battle under Eddie Howe. Like a Waitrose Rodwell.

Eddie and the boys might be able to wave some of the planes off on another bombing mission when they are there, maybe after visiting Chop Chop Square

Didn’t she recently lose a huge sum of money £150 mil in a Barclays lawsuit 😂😂

So in effect she leads rich people’s transactions and is a deal maker and probably takes a commission by the sounds of it. From reading that article is sounds like she was leading Abu Dhabi’s £3 billion potential investment in Barclay’s Bank on behalf of Sheik Mansour (Man City owner) and seems to have been aggrieved by Barclay’s doing business with Qatar or something and was suing Barclay’s for £800 million and she didn’t get a penny.

Will be VERY interesting to see what NUFC do around Qatar World Cup as Saudi regime seem to hate Qatar with a passion.

I find it weird that Athletic can employ Caulkin who feels like a mouthpiece for the owners and employ Adam Crafton who has been most vocal about the human rights abuses. Would be interested in their conversations…
