I wonder if they really are trying hard to get players over the line and getting refused by clubs or just they haven't a scooby

Quality players won’t want to be relegated. Trippier and Wood are in their thirties and probably aren’t that bothered as they are at the end of their careers anyhow. Wood had a good chance of being relegated with Burnley so you can see the sense in taking a huge wedge of money when it’s offered

Who didn’t want Gerrard???
Fair few of your embarrassing support said they didn’t want him and were never interested in him.
You'd think so but then again its the mags...
That one in particular is an absolute belter. Beat off Cambridge and didn’t post on PF for a few days, spineless bastard.

Why dont they just go the whole hog and call it the Newcastle United transfer show ! Absolutely pathetic, including that mag tosser in the chair.
been like that every time. Hopefully their incomings will cost them a fortune and they have the same impact as Trippier & Wood

Read an article in the Athletic today that says the following:

“Newcastle are scouring the market, trying to find out which players are available, and there are claims that they have as many as 45 potential options for certain positions — and those lists will only continue to grow.”

Not sure 45 potential players per position is the most well thought approach to recruitment 😂😂
