While all you infidels are laughing out of your filthy mouths of ridicule, you are missing all the great things the new owners have done in their first 100 days. To the untrained eye, it may look like they are royall f****** everything up and haven't a clue what they are doing - but they're actually laying the groundwork for world domination.

Achievements include
- thinking about renaming a bar;
- thinking about appointing a CEO and DoF;
- taken some signs down;
- thinking about upgrading their minging facilities;
- Regularly saying hi to Eddie.

Great work lads. It's clearly a long term project. They bloody love Eddie apparently. He's doing fantastic work.
Yoy forgot going for a chinese meal in tha toon

Does no one else think it wud be bad news if we got promoted and the mags got relegated and ended up in same division ?

After the initial laughing out loud and general frivolity that would follow another mag relegation, the grim realisation would surely sink in that 1 of the 3 promotion spots was booked and more importantly, they'd be able to buy the experienced players needed to get them up, whilst we we'd still be tinkering about paying as little as possible for players who might make it.

The 9 derby match unbeaten run vs them would be under very serious threat next season if we went up and they went down imho. Is that really what we want ? Just asking.

You have said this a number of times! No. I would take anything to get out of L1 and there is no guarantee they would come straight back up even with additions. Their strength is also their Achilles heel - 52k screaming jawdees. With the new expectations some will falter under that pressure.

I'd rather be in a division above we are now and see then relegated. In fact I'd laugh my head off. Any investment we do get will only come when we are in the championship. The mags will be in a heap of shit with players on 100k in the championship as well

Nope. I’d accept we’d be massive favourites to get beat. And probably would let’s face it. But frankly I’ve had enough of this shit now. It’s almost semi pro. Playing teams like feckin morecambe and Shrewsbury (no offence) we need out of here asap

Being in league 1 is sucking the life out of this club and them being relegated would cause an interruption to their plans.

I find being two divisions below them more embarrassing than getting beat by them.

So in short, no, for me it wouldn’t be bad news.

Even if by some quirk of fate we went up, we are 5 years from mounting realistic promotion challenge to the premier league, so no I want to see the murdering scum in the championship

What a pathetic post.

You'd rather we didn't go up in case we played Newcastle next season

We only need to play them twice, plus they’ll probably bottle the derby like they have done on so many occasions recently.

I’d rather lose a couple of derby matches than stay down in this shit league, plus I can still see the mags staying up.

Possibly but we can’t hang around down here forever. I’d rather take my chances against the mags in the Championship than play in League One.

This. It'd be hilarious if the Mags went down regardless. The most arrogant fans in world football seeing yet another relegation would be class whether we go up or not.

I don't think we'll go up anyway. But if we did yeah we'd likely be looking to just consolidate whereas the Mags would be huge favorites. In the Derby games all the pressure would be on them. A defeat would obviously sting but it'd be way worse for them as the richest club in the world.

Fuck no, whether or not they go down we have to go up. Them being relegated would just be the icing on the cake, for one thing it would delay their inevitable big spending for a few years.

Bizarre reasoning. If we hadn't played them every time I genuinely thought we'd be well beaten by them, I'd have missed out on some of the happiest derby memories of my life.

Even if we did get beat, I'd want us to have the chance to show the entire world what we think of their scumbag owners. Amnesty/Pride/Khasoggi banners, MBS sex offender chants, the lot. Embarrass the murdering bastards in front of a worldwide audience even worse than their crappy team have.
