What's the delay in announcing/confirming the new investor?
Feels like it'll be done on the 1st of February and they'll say they couldn't get it over the line in time for transfer window, but maybe that's just the Sunderland in me.

We need the investment now. In two weeks it will be to late for this season.
If we dont go up this season we wont have 25,000 season ticket holders next season unless there is significant investment in the summer.
I have spoken to a couple of solid SAFC supporters recently and a fifth season in Div3 is not appealing when considering swason tickets.
Massive two weeks for the club imho.

Was told that the additional investor is waiting, but until they are able to purchase existing shares they obviously remain on the sidelines.
SD and JS have the ball in their court at the moment.

Aye. Dont want to sound like a mag demanding money but the club is at the crossroads...astute investment at this window and we have a real chance. If not we will be in Div 3 next season.
