When he feels like it supposedly. Dont watch the stinkers but did watch a game recently when he got injured. He looked good but then went on like a fanny signalling to be taken off for a good 5 minutes, poss more. Only to play ( as suspected) in next game. Proper doing the hobble and rolling his hands to the bench , embarrassing in truth.

Tend to think hes soft as shite.

Good point..I'm no lover of Newcastle..putting rivalry aside..someone like ASM is arguably thier best player..coached properly say..Pep, Klopp or even Gerrard would be a good addition to any team..yes..you can argue his attitude at times but a good coach can work on that..Howe isn't capable of that..but it's only my opinion.

He’s not.

He’s exactly the kind of player who will seal a big move to Spurs or PSG in the next year or so before signing for Palace or Watford a couple of years later having won no trophies and racking up £75m in transfer fees.

5 goals and 3 assists does not say to me he's a good player at all.

Last season he got 4 assists all season. And less goals.

Seems that Howe gave two of their most expensive players ever, Willock and Frank Sidebottom, almost zero minutes each yesterday. They said Bruce destroyed all their players, but he certainly got more out of those 2 than Howe has managed.

Howe opted to play a £40 million turkey of a centre forward in Willock’s position instead. It seems he still managed to fluff a chance from inside the 6 yard area. Willock seemed quite prolific with those last season.

The defence still seems absolutely shit under Howe as well. How much longer will the mags let him off the hook for? They’re going down with about 20 points at this rate. They slaughtered nearly all of Ashley’s managers and none of them were as bad as this.

Trouble is ASM is surrounded by rank average players
Longstiff has got to be one of the worst midfield players getting a top flight game
