Morning,

Finally discovered the world of Spotify Any decent podcasts I can dive into before the doom and gloom starts at 4 am the morro!

Cheers all.

Seconded, I enjoyed this a lot

Tailenders gets a lot of love but I get the impression there's a lot of in jokes you just won't get if you dive into it now. But I haven't heard it, might be some good insights from Jimmy.
I only recently started listening to Tailenders. You’re right, there are a lot of in jokes but it doesn’t hinder the show I don’t think. It’s a decent listen.

Thirded.

Tailenders is alright. Great when they talk cricket with Jimmy, a bit strained when they're bantering (Tendulker's cousin especially).

Zero Ducks Given with Steve Finn and Dan Norcross is decent, The Bugle Ashes Urncast has been top, but that's nearly over obviously.

No Balls: The Cricket Podcast - but then I have a soft spot for Alex Hartley who is a definite WAD

Middle Please Umpire - lots of north east references

Wisden Cricket is the best serious cricket podcast I reckon. The Final Word is great as well, although two Aussies they're both very fair and balanced and seriously knowledgeable about cricket (both commentated on TMS etc.). Once a week they do this thing where people send them numbers that link it to a part of cricket history and they have to work out what that number is, which is great.

Finally, I'd recommend Red Inker which is with Jarrod Kimber who is a data analyst for various cricket teams, he's extremely knowledgeable and his guests are great (the recent podcast on US Cricket was great) and then he does a Q&A session each week as well, which makes it super relevent. He also does a podcast on cricket history called Double Century, the first series documents the development of cricket, while the second series is about the development of international cricket through charting the first time each test country beat England.

A controversial one, but I reckon The Grade Cricketer is also really funny. It's two Aussies and they don't hold back on England at times and far less serious than the other ones, but I think it's grade.

Wisden Cricket Weeky and The County Cricket Podcast are the two I listen to, although the latter is a bit pointless this time of year as they just tend to spam out loads of interviews. Well worth a listen between April and September though.

The 80/s and 90/s cricket podcast is a good listen. Been a couple of series so far of 6 episodes each I think.
