FTEB/Yorkshire/Punishment/Fixtures

All I care about is getting my money back somehow (bought tickets in September). Only way i'd want to keep them would be if the Test went ahead but Yorkshire not taking any profits

No,penultimate paragraph of article
"The schedule is normally published before Christmas, but the delay was not linked to Yorkshire, who will begin the season in County Championship Division One".
Yorkshire are going to get off without sanction.
If that happens I'll be sacking off England matches as well and selling my tickets to those. FTECB
Can't support any organisation that condones racism

PM me if they're on & you want shut . I'll go as long as it's not a Saturday when there's a league match .

Seems like the ECB are wrapping them up in cotton wool and protecting them
At the time of removing the matches from Yorkshire, the ECB said the county's major-match status would remain suspended until it "clearly demonstrated that it can meet the standards expected". Says it all, surely they should have to demonstrate that they have met the standards required.

Why can't ClS stage the Headingley Test? I have bought 3 tkts for the Saturday but am unlikely to go now,

Fuck sake  Still not reading the room or realising the seriousness of the situation. He's apologised yes but come on watch what you're saying

You know what he is getting at like, does everyone now have to issue a full apology everytime 1 word is said by mistake. Its no healthy way to make change or discuss things is it.

It was a mistake but I'm surprised more ppl didn't jump on his other quote

Asked if he had heard any racist language during his time at the club, which overlapped with Rafiq's spell between 2008 and 2017, Sidebottom said: "Not necessarily. For me personally, I just got on with my cricket and all players."

Makes it sound like he had but just ignored it as it didn't effect him

We need to see the full report and ECB investigation first. It’s difficult for these people to answer.

People might think I’m defending Yorkshire here but I’m really not, I just don’t like assumptions and making judgements on people till we know the full facts and we don’t know yet. That’s on both sides on any issue.

The only person publicly so far on the whole thing who has admitted anything in this is Gary Ballance

Which is why I didn't want to see anyone previously linked to the club given a coaching or senior leadership role. If they were there with Rafiq and didn't speak out, they're complicit, whether they joined in or not

So every single player and coach from the time Rafiq was employed at the club is now complicit?

Dont you think you are going a little over the top?
