Tbf they assessed it for about 5 minutes. I think they're right. We just weren't good enough. Anybody blaming VAR is ignoring how bad the rest of the performance was. Some good spells but it should never have came to hinge on something like that. Bad defending before the incident in your gif and after the gif before the goal went in. I thought it said VAR was checking for an offside rather than the dubravka incident. Maybe both. Either way didn't deserve it. Anybody saying otherwise is blind

Given it was easy enough to see Shelvey's touch which played the Cambridge player offside then maybe they were looking at it. It took about 3 minutes from the goal to the ref finally blowing to give the goal but there was a bit more too it.

To be fair I posted that ball on hand for a wind up for any lurking mags not expecting one to reply :lol:. Though I do think Dubravaka gets a hand on the top of the ball first but it's that close then VAR wouldn't overule it like they did with Schmechiel's hand on ball.

Dubravaka was also injured but not his hand but his foot, as that happened when he came out to block the first shot from the 'offside' bloke. The Cambridge player actually misses kicking the ball completely and ends up stamping and crushing Dubravka's foot and the ball ends up between Dubravka's legs. Again, VAR could have looked at this and on another day overruled the goal, with little controversy anarl, as it's done it for far less but they didn't.

This just proves the world is against us.

It's not a foul imo. Just an accident. Have seen them given. If Shelvey touched it then its not offside. So be it. As i said it should never have came to that. Made plenty chances but were mainly shit
