Good luck to him if he leave’s, he wasn’t good enough, that can happen but I have no Ill will to him at all and I don’t see why anyone would at least he tried he just wasn’t up to it unfortunately for him and ourselves.

The worst thing about his time here was the coaches persistence in playing him. It was as clear as day how awful he was. I’m in disbelief that the move was even sanctioned on those wages. Even this season he’s managed 14 league apps, he’s absolutely dreadful, especially in relation to our aspirations. Lower half L1 player, max.

Proof that people will say literally anything just to criticise a player they don’t like.
Sorry mate but I say what I see. He's drifted through many a game. For you to say the he is the hardest working player you have ever seen is verging in the bizarre. Current SAFC players who work harder than AOB - Gooch, Winchester, Flanagan, Cirkin and no doubt others. Dod you go to match against Oldham? The only way to describe AOB's performance was lazy.

Can’t fault his attitude or commitment. Not what we needed and that was obvious at the time, to everyone but Parky.

Best of luck to him, frees us a chunk of wages we can use to bring someone else in.

I will forever be impressed by the pirouette he does to avoid contact when inbetween the ball and the tackler.

What ever happens in this window, O'Brien has certainly 'done a job' for us and he has always put in the work. He should leave with the best wishes of everyone associated with the club.
Many a game has simply passed him by. For a lad who has actually scored for the ROI he has been a massive disappointment and I would feel he will not think he has done himself justice. He must have expected to have done better coming down to this level. I genuinely think he may just not have settled in the area being from London - it happens. I certainly don't wish him ill and hope he goes on to do well somewhere but he has under performed for us.

In a much slower team I thought he showed some good technical ability on the ball early on.

Totally not suited to this team though.

He was apparently a late fax away from leaving in the summer so I see it as absolutely nailed on he's leaving in January.

Don't understand the hate he gets on here. Always grafted and ran his socks off -
he may be of limited ability or it may be that we don't play to his strengths -
but he always gave 100% and he will always have my respect for that unlike the likes of Rodwell, Grigg etc
Good luck to him and i hope he helps Doncaster improve
I've visited the Keepmoat twice and its a cracking little stadium with decent fans

Doncaster on loan I recon, he was close to joining them before

Good cut and paste as usual

He didn't always give 100%, he didn't always graft and he didn't always run his socks off, hope this helps.
