Grafter, apparently a nice bloke but sadly that isn’t enough if our aspiration is to get out of this bloody league. Lower end L1 player at best. That open goal he missed against Plymouth was the final straw.

In that season all Ross County players were on £1kpw or less. Lowest wage bill in their league by some margin. Haven’t got a link now but it was in some report I found in Scottish press, while trying to work out how we could bring Stewart here given the L1 wage cap at the time.

Poor footballer and I don’t understand the “but he’s a grafter” argument either. However, he’ll have my best wishes unless he slags us off on the way out of the door (no reason why he should tbh)

He's not even the hardest working player this year. Yes some of the criticism is over the top but some games he's played he's contributed nowt and hardly broken sweat. Unless, of course, you were being ironic.

This. Wish him well if he is away. Wasn’t what we needed last season, and hasn’t kicked on this season. There’ll be a club more suited to him out there. Ultimately he wasn’t good enough for what we need to get out of this league

Seems a decent lad though, good luck to him

Hard worker, just not enough quality.

No idea why he's getting abuse, I actually respect him more for wanting to leave to actually play football, be easy for him to just sit and clag up a place in the squad.
