I remember some bald bloke who sat in the front on the North Stand in the Reid era, used to always stand up and sing and wasn't impressed no one else did. When Reid was under pressure he went all the way to the dugout and was screaming at him, the photo made the papers I think.

Taking photos of that man. Wad ya dare
or….is it just a bluff? The mind boggles…haha

Wey it’s a reet trap now

I’m characterised as either a liar or a quasi-pervert so I can’t win.

I just find it bizarre thinking and properly weird deciding to video other people without their permission. It's a strange old world we live in nowadays.

In public areas anyone can video who they want or CCTV would be illegal. Their permission is given by entering public areas. The echo take photos of people in the crowd every game wihout their permission by using the same logic.

I'm not one for whipping my phone out to video stuff, mind and it gets on my tits tbh. I don't expect anyone else not to just because I don't.

As a rule I’m the same.

Isn't it in the T&C of buying a ticket that no recording be made?

I don't think the SOL is technically a public place either.

Recording of the game ie to protect people showing clips of goals prior to it being on motd (although people still do obviously). Doesn't matter about public.

Any public gatherings are fine unless the owner of the venue blocks it. Ie motd can show fans in the ground 'without their (thrle individual fan' s) permission'.

There's grey areas within it but nowt that's ever going to see the finger flicker be able to sue someone for.

Producing the images for commerical gain would be slightly different but again you can photograph large crowds or people part of large crowds in the right circumstances without a need for thousands of release forms.
