Been said on another thread, but clubs really are just taking the piss with these postponements now.

Everyone saw Newcastle’s two best players limp off last night with normal, run-of-the-mill, footballing injuries. Then lo and behold, the next day, Newcastle apply for a “COVID-related” postponement.

Are the Premier League (and EFL) really so f***ing stupid, that they can’t see what’s going on? It’s absolutely laughable.

This is the thing, it's amazing if the covid side of things kicks in just at the same time as their injuries.
I don't know how many noticed last night but Manquillo got booked for time wasting in the 95th minute. That was his 5th booking so he would have missed the Everton game and therefore another non covid missing player. He will have known this before kickoff so why do it so late in the game for something so stupid?

It seemed clear ASM and Wilson were injured though Fraser went off 'injured' in the 75th minute and Schar was holding his hamstring late in the game so I wonder if he's also injured now.

Do the Premier League have a limit of how many injuries/suspensions that are allowed when adding to covid cases? Given the likes of Chelsea have asked but were denied yet seemed to put out a decent team then why don't the PL come out and say how many are affected by covid and name them. I'd assume they are also checking tests are valid of course.

Everton have also had players out so possibly wouldn't have had anywhere near a full strength team out anyway but even you have to wonder just how many are due to covid and how many to injuries, especially with the Mags.

They passed the owners as fit and proper so…

That is disgraceful.
The game is fucked.
Comprehensively mate. It no longer has any credibility as a competition. F**king shambles so it is.

They were told to and they caved in. Gutless f**ks. This is the result. Teams doing as they please. The PL has no authority any more.

Eh? Next 3 games - Leicester (lost), Liverpool (lost), Man U (drew). No further forward and everyone above them has games in hand now due to covid cancellations. Crystal ball working fine. You're sounding more mag like daily.
You said there's no hope, they are well within 6 points of safety before they buy themselves out of trouble. I'm a mag because you were wrong? Whatever.

Might as well use it to their advantage to be fair. I hope we would do the same if Pritchard and Neil picked up injuries.
