Ha'way me Bonny Lads in 17th !

currently Watford whose Boxing Day game is postponed but who then have a very winnable home match v slumping West Ham . Ranieri's boys are building up a useful " games in hand " advantage over the scratters below them so here's hoping the black and yeller beauties kick on in the new year.
Clearly, if they do get a win and move up the table I'll be transferring allegiance to the new occupants of the fabled 17th spot.

News today

Here’s a slightly bewildering story from the Press Association about a group of anti-vaxxers trying - and failing dismally - to serve papers on the former England and Newcastle United footballer Alan Shearer.

The hapless protesters attempted to “serve papers” on ex-footballer Alan Shearer but comically dropped them off at the wrong house. The former England captain and Newcastle United hero last week had urged people to get the booster in a video promoted by the Premier League.

In the clip, Shearer said: “We all want to keep safe on a matchday and the best way we can protect ourselves and other people is to get vaccinated.” His stance led anti-vaccination protesters to film themselves on Wednesday outside an address near Newcastle which they believed to be his family home.

In the video they shared on social media, three men and a woman, plus someone recording the scene, gathered outside a gated property and after pressing an electronic buzzer, one of them posted documents into an external letterbox.

The mags are pinning their hopes on signing 5 or 6 quality players in January.

Now football is never that easy firstly signing players in January is never that easy

Secondly if you do sign them it's usually at the back end of January which will mean another few games played and also when clubs decide wether they should allow players to go out on loan or sell them as they don't want to leave themselves short

Thirdly not many good quality players want to join a team on 10 points and heading for the championship
Don’t forget this C19 postponement carry on. Clubs will be thinking twice of loaning or selling anyone now.

Is that all? I’m presuming he’s on decent money already and if he’s been sensible will nivver need to work again but even then itd take more than £120k a week to get me from Madrid to the NE and I’m from up there.

He’s on the photocopier getting loadsa CVs knocked up.

I LOVE THIS PART FROM THE PAPER!!!

There are a handful of Red Devils players who could be allowed to leave in January and Newcastle could be the perfect destination

Three Manchester United players who could use Newcastle United match as St James' Park audition.

Donny van de Beek

Jesse Lingard
Anthony Martial

The scum will check them out too see if they are good enough.
