My estimation is that they are more likely to become another QPR than another Man City

I was reading about QPR's story and it sticks to me how they only managed to attract players who wanted big money and couldn't give a shit

They undoubtedly face that obstacle come January

That's possibly a very good analogy, Man City had a plan and spent a lot of money on backroom staff while they were climbing the League, improving the squad and changing managers.

They also bought players that actually would fit into a Pep system a year or two before he came - in preparation / hope they would get him.

In comparison the behind the scenes decision making at NUFC appears to be shambolic?

I've said it before but Emery was a fantastic target with a real pedigree of success at qualifying and competing in European football.

Failing to get him because you were leaking to the press he was inbound is bad enough - but on which footballing planet do you "have a plan, build infrastructure, want to hire Emery as your first coach - then when you miss out Howe is next in line?!"

It makes absolutely no sense unless you accept that there is no one person or management team in place with experience of top flight football making the footballing decisions.

Just like QPR.

Joelinton is going to continue to play more as Be-headie wants to sell him to balance the books so expect the dreadful performances to return as he notices he still gets picked anyway. Maybe they could threaten him with crucifixion at Easter if he hasn't found a club or hasn't scored a goal

Austin Maximan will be under the same scrutiny as he's another potential revenue raiser and his comments when Bruce scuttled off to his yacht suggest he was actually a Bruce loyalist. Best not mention 'the troubles' though as there's enough religious persecution with the current ownership.

Surely they can't continue to have Almiron in the same squad as two headless chickens is just too much even for the gormless caliphate end to take.

Which of the other Christmas turkeys are going to be fattened up for sale remains to be seen as I honestly can't see anyone buying Fraser or Hendrick

Amanda Slavery and the others on the murderers row committee have some interesting decisions to make, something they've struggled with so far...

The Christmas fixtures and January is likely to be a challenging period for the Al Qaeda faithful.

Perhaps they can try harder at Ramadan...
Slavery. 🤣🤣🤣 that’s going to stick

And yet you consistently assume the Filth will improve while none of the clubs around them will.
Where do I consistently assume they will improve or have you just made that up based on that post? I've got 50 posts at most in this thread and the majority of them are piss takes. It's about a week I stopped the piss taking and I said they may not need the usual 35+ points this season due to other poor teams around them which are Norwich, Burnley, Watford, Leeds and Southampton. I'd expect Leeds to sort themselves out once players return but I've my doubts about Southampton and hoyed a little bet on them. Even Brighton could be one to watch when you look at their last 11 results and who it was against.

That's why I also say owt could happen in that post you quoted as everything is assumption and speculation anyway. Although I've got my doubts it will happen, I'm not fully writing off that the Mags may go daft spending money and there's plenty of paper talk about it but hopefully that's all it is. That's how they have a potential advantage by bringing in some money grabbing mercenaries on wages that teams around them wouldn't offer but they play decent football.

For all we know, they could be offering them huge bonuses of a few million if they help keep them up. Given how much it would cost the Mags in lost revenue if they did go down along with recovery time getting back up then a few million each in bonuses staying up is a smaller price to pay and well within their FFP.

I just hope it goes tits up in some way for the Mag and either they don't get players they want or spend obscene money but the players don't graft hard enough and they still go down 😄

Where's Exile when you need him to post these 2 gifs on that tw@tter thread so Newcastle can ask why Schar wasn't sent off for his 'off the deck' challenge catching both Mane's left ankle and right leg?

Or why Laschelles didn't give away a penna for one of the most blatant pushes seen but not given.

Why do I think they won't mention that, along with other decisions that have gone in their favour? 🤔😂

Had to Google that one mate, but when I read it I remember those players going there. Didn't realise it had such a bad ending for them.

That'll definitely do as a blueprint like!

👍
Had some fun times on football manager with them . Plenty of similarities with the unwashed hopefully ends the same way. Summed up well here
‘But if your team depends on the largesse of a sugar daddy then there is at least one lesson you can learn from the rise and fall of FC Anzhi Makhachkala: Your sugar daddy better not run out of patience, money or interest.’

I see the article says this so someone should tweet the NUFC with the 2 gifs from my last post and ask them to add them to the package of clips.

"Newcastle United are set to make a formal complaint to the Premier League over the standard of officiating in their last three games after a series of controversial decisions went against Eddie Howe’s side.
Howe has privately been incensed by the poor decisions which have contributed to the defeats against Leicester City, Liverpool and Manchester City and has asked staff to put together a package of clips to illustrate his point."

I also noticed this bit

"Isaac Hayden had suffered a head injury trying to clear a corner but referee Mike Dean allowed play to go on, even though the Newcastle player was lying injured on the edge of the six yard box."

As for Hayden suffering a head injury and being "dizzy 5 minutes after the match" according to Howe, they can also hoy up the gif of it showing no head collision and Schar clearly pretending to be hurt but getting up when he sees ref isn't stopping play. Also ask why Hayden played the full 90 mins if it was that bad that he stayed down that long holding his head kicking the deck?

Also ask why Hayden was running about within a couple of minutes perfectly fine and even lunging into the air karate kick style to make an off the deck tackle?

It's pathetic that they're clutching at things and work themselves up into a frenzy but only see the decisions they think go against them. This is football and shit happens at times for all teams. With the Mags, the heavily tinted black and white specs come on and they see things differently but again they're the ones who take it to the extreme with talk of conspiracy and the Premier League wanting them relegated 🤣

The prospect of living in Newcastle probably holds as much appeal as Dagestan for your average elite European footballer.
What happens if they have three games in a row in March where they benefit from poor decisions? Another complaint in?
Imagine it would disappear, just like their demands for transparency did when the fat oaf in Downing Street pushed their takeover through behind closed doors.

I wonder if the hearing of their complaint will be streamed online for the dole wallas to tune in en masse again? Another attendance record for Keith the Tramp to bang on about.
