Exactly this. As long as it’s a big name they won’t care if it’s a mercenary who probably knows they are doomed but can see two big paydays, one when he signs and one when he leaves in the summer.

I think there might be some legs in the Trippier one. Seems he is not on mega wages at the mags and has worked with Edward VIII before....but currently out with shoulder injury.

Those two games against Liverpool were superbly entertaining games to watch live.

I don’t think I have ever been so involved in a game that did not involve us!

Mags claiming that we are the only ones still bothered about their horrific owners….read this
Liverpool fans further down the thread laughing at the Newcastle fans for claiming they’re “long suffering”.

Which is funny as I remember a lot of Liverpool fans were claiming to be long suffering before they won that title a couple of years ago.

I suppose it’s all relative like, a Carlisle United fan would probably roll their eyes about us complaining about being in league 1.
And to be fair there’s often a lot of goals. Just usually in their net
Entertainaz gonna entertain

"Most exciting rivalry in the Premier League era"? Only in their own minds...
Liverpool v United
Liverpool v City
Liverpool v Chelsea
Man Utd v Man City
Man Utd v Arsenal
Arsenal v Spurs
Spurs v Chelsea...

No....Newcastle v Liverpool is the most exciting! FFS.
We shouldn't be surprised really should we as they are absolutely barmy

I don't think anyone disagrees. I was at the Collymore one. It is the rivalry comment that shows complete delusion.

I’m no expert like but it would seem from the outside looking in he needs to sacrifice some of his attacking instincts and accept he needs to keep it tight. His teams have shelvey willock Maxi Pad Wilson Almiron and Jerr Linton. I mean most of the premier league are just gonna walk right through the middle of that lot

Trouble with that is that the defence are also horrendous

It was always a ridiculous appointment

His Bournemouth teams always conceded a boat load. Mags defence is shocking to start with

Good to see it play out 😎
