Statistically they can comfortably recover from such an awful start looking at the league table, but then I remember their one win was against Burnley at home when their keeper literally handed them the ball to go win it.

We made more ground up than that under big Sam so it can be done.
Sam had a half decent set of players that needed organising, which is what he is good at. Eddie has a bag of shite to organise, which isn’t what he is good at.

Newcastle have a tough remaining 2021- I don’t expect them to get any more points.

A massive challenge now awaits them to avoid relegation.

Top players will not sign for Newcastle In January.

I cannot imagine the new regime did not contemplate a relegation but given the aims for the takeover, a season in the Championship will not be welcomed.

Oh well!
I expect a covid outbreak ripping through the nufc camp tomorrow. Conveniently.

Ah me lads, the news has got us rowdy
It’s time to get the swords out cos now we’re owned by Saudi
The gays are strung from lampposts, the lasses in seclusion
Gannin’ along to Gallowgate, to see the execution.

He owns a million oil wells, the chap is filthy rich
And soon those million oil wells will be playing on our pitch
When journalists go missing we sing this from the Leazes
The boss has got his chainsaw out and cut the bloke to pieces.

Yes me lads, the river Tyne is foggy
And now the place belongs to the killer of Khashoggi
It’s time to ditch our principles, there’s no point acting bravely
Gannin along the Scotswood road, behind Amanda Staveley.

Brilliant article, and loved the little ditty a the end -take a bow Sir.

A good read that, the mags will embrace the fact they are hated as it gives them some attention, which is something they crave.

Yep they'll just post WWE money GIFs

Brilliant that like.
He's just as incredulous as the rest of the UK that PIF have been welcomed so openly by the black and white morally void arseholes

We got ourselves a new boss, they call him MBS
And all the Geordies I know think he is the best
The fella’s “fit and proper”, some find that proper weird
But what the hell do we care, ‘cause now we live in Riyadh

And when we get the chequebook out on the first day of New Year
There’ll be Kylian Mbappe and Salah coming here
The shallow grave for Eddie, the throne for Jurgen Klopp
‘Cause once we start the spending we won’t know how to stop.

It was down in southern Yemen we had a spot of trouble
And so we got our Air Force out and turned the place to rubble
The Houthis died in thousands, you should have seen their faces
But what the hell do we care, ‘cos now we’re going places

Two x 4-3! They will have played each other 52 times since the start of the Prem. Deluded.
Can't see anything wrong with that I'm very excited at the prospect of watching it as it's another great opportunity to watch the mags live on sky embarrassing themselves to the nation as usual

"Most exciting rivalry in the Premier League era"? Only in their own minds...
Liverpool v United
Liverpool v City
Liverpool v Chelsea
Man Utd v Man City
Man Utd v Arsenal
Arsenal v Spurs
Spurs v Chelsea...

No....Newcastle v Liverpool is the most exciting! FFS.

I am expecting a headline grabbing signing but that does not necessarily mean they will get a top player or the right fit. They just know the fans want a signing.

Signing the right sort is more important than just a name.

Exactly this. As long as it’s a big name they won’t care if it’s a mercenary who probably knows they are doomed but can see two big paydays, one when he signs and one when he leaves in the summer.
