They aimed high for a manager tbf, but ended up with Eddie Howe. A similar pattern seems to be emerging now with the DoF candidates. I imagine those candidates with a bit about them can smell that Staveley and her paramour don't exactly exude competence or professionalism in their new roles.
Obviously a lot more financial backing them but in terms of competence there definitely seems to be more than a whiff of Donald and Methven about them.

Maybe they could hire Charlie as he saved Sunderland, he would be a valuable asset to them

A club can make an offer for anyone to appease the fans when in reality they know they’ve got no chance of getting them.

I remember the Mags bidding for Wayne Rooney just before he went to Man Utd, they had no chance.

Late to the party, a walkover to the 4th round so it seems
Yeah, you've done brilliantly in the FA cup over the last 10 years. Most of the time you end up losing in the third round to lower league clubs such as Stevenage, Brighton and Cardiff. It's one of the funniest things of the season when you get beat in the early rounds especially at home to lesser clubs.

Wasn't Hereford meant to be a walkover as well?
