Aye I thought as much. Bit of a brave lad. You can interpret what happened in your own way but in defence of the manager you’re now calling other Sunderland supporters liars about even being there. Classy

Nowt brave lad about it. You're making a song and dance about some daft lad shouting his mouth off and getting something back. Gan and have a cup of hot chocolate and settle down for the evening fella eh.

Were you really there by the way, because the West Stand was busier than I thought judging by the comments?

Yes I was there. And if I had any idea how to post a video from my phone I could not only show I was there, I could show the next bit of the footage after the fella marched down from seat after the initial V flick. The next bit shows a similar hand gesture though it is less clear than the original one.

I don’t think the video would change anyones minds on this anyway. There are those who think Johnson was within his rights to do it, there are those who think it wasnt professional. Im the latter rather than the former. That doesn’t mean the bloke didn’t overreact by marching down to the front or by phoning the radio.

That’s pretty much been my take on this throughout and have only ever described the incident beyond that.

I was leaving Block L18 West Stand when I saw a lad heading past me shouting at LJ to walk away. I didn’t see LJ’s response. I just thought the lad was quite emotional and somewhat OTT as l thought we were unlucky not to win. I’m not sure what LJ could have done about us hitting the woodwork twice.
 
The fan who phoned the phone in sounded like a right weapon.
He was talking absolute cack babble and sounded like he was going to cry.

I've got a little more respect for Johnson for telling him where to go to be fair.

Sensed it was going to be interesting and a talking point. Thought a couple of people I knew who weren’t at the match would be interested to see it. Haven’t uploaded it anywhere. I’m not a social media ‘like’ whore. And contrary to what the brave poster who said it’s the same as those people that don’t stop fights and film it, it’s not quite the same at all.

It's another example of people reacting with their phone before just taking it in themselves. Not everything needs filming. Just be part of the moment.
What would filming it solve?

I just find it bizarre thinking and properly weird deciding to video other people without their permission. It's a strange old world we live in nowadays.
