Of course. But when you are bottom of the league, how good the opposition are is far more important than mentality.
There's lots of factors. It's about mindset of going into the game knowing you're struggling at the bottom.
Many things go against bottom teams because the belief and team spirit wanes, along with the overall confidence.
Once you gain a gee up from somewhere, things can take an upturn. A bit of luck, like I mentioned can make a massive difference.
A change of set up, as in tactical and player wise....or manager and coach changes can create a different mentality.

There's been plenty of occasions where teams who aren't given a hope in hell of beating bigger teams, have done just that. And there'll be plenty more.

You said the only things that mattered were ... and then didn't actually mention the most important things about ability of your team and the opposition. For sure these other things matter too, but they are secondary.

And sometimes the favourites lose but that's the exception, otherwise they wouldn't be the favourites.

Anyhow, too early on a Monday for this nonsense.

I was one of those laughing at the mags doing a lap of honor and having world cup winner type photos taken after beating Burnley but.....
The lad above is correct.
All the over the top shit will be giving them a feel good factor and instilling self confidence. I can't see them going down.

Watford Norwich Burnley and even Leeds will make sure of that then if they end up 5th bottom they can have an open top bus tour and a statue of behEddie built of course

Yeah. Coin flip now to go down which is a far better chance than a week ago

They’ve obviously approached that Emanalo fella and he’s turned them down before they’ve got very far, hence the ‘wasn’t offered the job’ line

If I am a journo and the owner of a club reaches out to dispel a rumour then this is manna from heaven!

We've got Peter Beardsley, abusing the kids
We've got Peter Beardsley, abusing the kids
We've got Peter Beardsley, abusing the kids
Because we’re the richest club in the world

Unfortunately I think they’ll beat Leicester who are on a massive downer at the moment and have to travel to Naples on Thursday before the game on Sunday
