The bar for footballers is so fcking low it's unreal.
Joelinton was ok in Howe's first game...a 7/10 compared to his usual 4/10.
In the second game he ran around for the first ten minutes and then was anonymous.
Against Norwich he kept himself involved in the game for the full match which he had to as they were down to ten men.

In all those games they didn't win!
But Behaddie going on like he'll be up for next year's Ballon D'Or!
I can't wait to see how the new Patrick viera (according to Craig hope) gets on in the games against Liverpool man city and the like in the next month

The bar is now set high

He was getting grief of fans in the picture but now he's now getting grief off the lass who took the photo regarding copyright  You need to click the tweet to see the conversation but I think it's gone to DMs now.

😄 Gerrin. You can tell they're pro photos so distributing them as if they're his own and showing that on twitter was only a matter of time before something was said. I didn't think it would have been this quick though

I don't even know why any Sunderland fan would watch them, let alone study them enough enough to individually merit mark their players.

As my dad used to say, he'd draw the curtains if they were playing in the back garden.

Newcastle fans
Eddie Howe is getting the best from Joelinton

Devils Advocate
That's squad is playing so badly they're making Joelinton look good.

What happened to their heroes. Lascelles should be England squad material? St. Maximin was their best player under Bruce. No mention of them.

And she's wilfully using the image of an internationally renowned YouTube sensation to boost her own career.

She's not even a good photographer, she took a photo of Staveley and managed to chop her head off.

It gave the Saudi lads a chuckle mind :D

I reckon Ramsey is all but guaranteed - not playing and wants to come back to the Premier League, on massive wages, injury prone and has played for two big clerbs. Nailed-on.

Lingard will likely want to stay and prove himself under a new Manager, Winks and Barkley fairly likely to be interested though would probably be paid well in excess of their worth and Barkley unlikely to avoid injury. Trippier would have better offers.
Just my opinion, of course.
A fairly reasonable assessment of the likelihood of a move being viable to New-Isis United

Assuming Ramsay, Winks and Barkley are interested I'd say none of them are the sort of players to make a difference in the pub brawl that is a relegation battle.

Tarkowski is the type they need and The Tooniban should offer him 'the ranch' to come and prostitute himself.

Let's hope he gets a better offer.

Expect nothing else of little Napoleon Macron.
He’s just trying to catch up with the UK and get in on the action we have had for years. Saudi are one of the UK’s biggest trading and diplomatic allies and the relationship is becoming more strategically important. We can’t blame Macron for wanting to improve France’s relationship with them and like the UK already has, France will be wanting Saudi investment in critical national infrastructure.
