i still dont think he will go back there even if he does get sacked and the Mags come begging......there will be too much pressure on him to achieve and no excuses to hide behind if he doesnt
 
Does anyone think they may just go for loans in January.

Would be the sensible thing imo, no point paying over the odds and huge salaries to people you won't be able to shift and fuck up your FFP.

I'd just resign myself to being down or Hope Edd can work a miracle with the players he's got.

Then start the rebuild next year.

Obviously I hope they spunk 100 million go down and have players hanging around on massive wages.

He doesn't need excuses. If he'd got the points Howe had led them to with 10 behind the ball trying to pinch a goal on the break, he'd still be the worlds best ever manager. If Bruce had got more points, he'd still be terrible.

The whole thing is weird. If you meant business even in this position youd pay big money for a director of football immediately, get a big name manager in and just build slowly bringing in some sensible loan youngsters etc. Be honest and say we may go down but we'll build and come back strong.

Yes, me.

I think these stories linking them moves for Aaron Ramsay & Dembele are premature, they’d be better targeting the likes of those in the summer (provided they stop up).

Most of them daft bastards will be expecting they sign those 2 and a couple of good players for a lot of money as soon as the transfer window opens though. :lol:

Rafa's totally immune to any criticism from the mags and the press. His football is absolutely atrocious where it's only the mags that claim he’s ‘world class’. In reality Rafa is without a doubt one of the most overrated managers of all time who's been dining out ever since winning the Champions League in 2005. When he was manager of Liverpool he underachieved with the players he had, where he should have won them the league a couple of times.
