Same 5 or 6 of us been going for last 30 years, the match is just (usually shit) distraction from a couple of hours drinking either side. I know for a fact there’s plenty of Sunderland fans who wouldn’t bother if it wasn’t for the social side. Suppose we could just stay in the pub and ditch the match.

I’m one of em marra. I can’t even be arsed to watch a dodgy feed on my own sofa and that was during our last PL spell. Watch it in the pub with your mag marras. Rehearse your well thought out response to questions as to why and you’ll look like an ethical, intellectual giant in comparison to those around you. I nar they’re only mags and it’s a kingdom of the blind scenario but think of the extra money you’ll have to spend in the pub.

I’m turning him people. He’s gradually seeing the error of his ways. Give me another couple of hours and he’ll be getting a ship badge tattoo on his arm and putting his name down at the RSPCA to adopt a black cat.

We’ve already got the black cat. It was the missus’s choice. It only gets kicked when we lose so limping all over at the minute. If we lose tonight I might take your advice and head off to watch the Spartans at the weekend
 
Norwich will win tonight. They are a far better side than the scum and in far better form. They'll go 1-0 up and the crowd will turn. They are 13/5 on Bet365 and I'm pleased to say I've lumped on it!
