It likely wouldn’t be the worst thing, they’d bounce back.

Obviously better to stay up though.

What would be worse?
They go down or they stay up! That's the two options

Of those two options relegation is worse. Yet them twats are already trying to sell it as a positive.

Yes they would likely come back up. But its no guarantee. Plenty of clubs (us included) have found that out

The biggest issue with them going down is they won't be a member of the premier league anymore. So the premier league will come up with a whole set of new rules about spending, sponsorship and ownership which the premier league clubs will vote for.

Warren Barton replied saying him, sir les and rob lee loved it up here

some daft mag posted a picture of the quayside but it was the Gateshead side

Ferdinand lasted one year!

I love Newcastle as a city, though I hate the mags and the club.

Lots has happened since Rob Lee et. all were there - average wage is now 75k p/w and they have no connection with the working man. Players can get decent wages wherever they go so there is no need to add extra time and distance between them and their friends and family. Players are emotionally immature and if they have a mate they will live anywhere.

Even the mackem scab is getting involved now

In his defence, Newcastle and the Northeast are amazing places. I hate the club and its fans, but Newcastle as a city has more about it than Birmingham, Sheffield or Leeds in my opinion.

But the real gem of the Northeast is away from the cities. The Durham dales trump the Yorkshire dales in my mind. Teesdale and Weardale are quieter and better than anything south of the Tees. Durham City as well, is more impressive than it gets credit for.

I live in Essex these days, my wife is from Hampshire. We agree that the NE has more to offer than. Where she grew up or where we live now.

Yeah the north east is a pretty good place to live in general. Got mates who have lived in London, Birmingham but back home now and prefer it. Always felt there was a bit of a pong on the Tyne though.
