Sounds like the revolution might take some time.... and might be already resigned to a journey to the championship?
“With the ownership comprising three different parties — Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, Staveley’s PCP Capital Partners and the Reuben brothers — there is some external confusion as to who is in charge and how decisions are made, especially since Lee Charnley departed as chief executive.”

😂😂 it’s a shambles

Fuck yeah!

Absolutely f***ing disgraceful that like. The mod who banned him should hang his head in shame.
I did ask @Roger to look into this but he may have missed my post.
It seems pretty clear that amongst the whole host of New Taliban Toon idiots joining are Saudi bots. And they use the report button to shut down anybody criticizing the fascist regime to aid their sportswashing.
I’ll have a go at starting a free the exile thread but depending on which mods are online I guess I may well join him!

There's still a feeling among some people that Newcastle are spawny and always come up smelling of roses, I really don't get it tbh.

They've failed to win a major trophy in 60 years despite reaching cup finals, been knocked out by a series of little clubs, lost the play-off's at home to Sunderland, blew a massive lead to win the title, lost a record breaking 6 consecutive derbies, have been relegated twice and are on their way to a hat trick as the most despised club in the league.

Remind me why they're lucky again ....
When you put it like that…

They just “feel” lucky though. Even now after all of that we’re stuck in 3rd division. They always get out of it somehow. They haven’t gone through anything like us as a fanbase. Yet so much more entitled
Seconded. Bring Exile back.
He’s been banned? Ridiculous that mind

Go for it, you have my support.

Already hearing the "it's a project" message from the few mags I know

They genuinely think that relegation would be no big deal, and might actually be good because they can shift the legacy of Bruce and start rebuilding with the Saudi money.

The delusion is unreal. They are trying to spin that this season isn't a disaster.... already

It likely wouldn’t be the worst thing, they’d bounce back.

Obviously better to stay up though.

My niece works at Sage ( software) she was talking about her Christmas party coming up, I asked where it was and she said ‘It’s at St James’, but quite a few people were kicking off about it saying why are we having it there? And funding the Saudis given their human rights abuses.’
I was pleased to hear this, most of them will be NUFC fans there.

Under McKeag they were skint and plummeting towards the 3rd division. John Hall comes along and throws money at the club at a time when no one else was spending big money. They got promoted just as the PL kicked off and nearly bought their way to the title. When staring administration in the face, along comes Ashley who never carried out due diligence and saves them from doing a ‘Leeds’ or ‘Sunderland’. Despite 2 relegations, the owner provides sufficient funds to bounce straight back. Then the Saudi’s come along and all their financial worries disappear.

How much more luck do you want, though hopefully the Saudi move will backfire big time.

Fs man your AV

Drinking my tea scrolling down then bam

Christian Ronaldur cleanin the pies!

Also reportedly a poor venue for that sort of event.

Certainly wasn’t impressed with the corporate stuff when I’ve been to Rugby matches there. Imagine the new ownership will want that sorting quickly as well.
