Nicholas McGeehan, a human rights expert at FairSquare, told The Athletic that the BBC had betrayed the thousands of journalists it employs by accepting advertising revenue from a fund chaired by MBS.

McGeehan argued: “PIF is more than a sovereign investment fund, it appears to now be playing a key role in the rehabilitation of the reputation of its chairman, MBS. It’s a betrayal of public service broadcasting for the BBC to be assisting him in this endeavou r."

And we wonder why they are avoiding the issue like the plague. Look at the stink they’ve (rightly) created about racism at YCCC.
Yet on the main news we’ve heard the square root of f**k all about this. So many snouts in the trough. So many spines gone missing.
So many principles bought and paid for. So many agendas furthered.

Saw that this morning, shameful that because he’s dared to stick his head above the parapet he is getting abuse.
Ive said it before, but I’m truly and genuinely disappointed with Mag fans I consider friends, with a decent moral compass, selling their souls for this regime so they can say “we are the richest club”
It actually sickens me. I can’t even laugh about it anymore

They are willingly enabling and actively supporting a murderous despotic regime. Simple as that.

Simple, don't watch the BBC, don't fund them by buying a licence, let them know by any media possible, bombard Look North etc., Let them know, spread the word, tell the club(s) to ban the BBC , don't give them the time of day.

The country is up for sale in soo many ways ... and often to foreign powers who are in many ways enemies

Corruption is out of control.... and this saga illustrates who controls those in power. Its corruption and corruption is a cancer, one that eats away at a citizen’s faith in democracy.

It just seems like for so many people, if it’s not happening in their living room it doesn’t matter. If this continues, one day it will and it’ll be too late to do anything about it if it isn’t already.
When did winning a game of footy matter more than someone’s life? When did that happen?
