First time this season the scruffy bastards have been odds against to stay up. 11/10 with most places. That's usually an ominous sign.

You can Ridicule me has me much has you want but you never answer the question did he do a good job at Bournemouth?

He did a good job at Bournemouth. But....

He had a tolerant and appreciative fan base
He was given time
Was under no pressure
Built up a club slowly and steadily beyond anyones expectations

He will get none of that at Newcastle.

- Fans will turn on him in the blink of an eye
- Saudis want success quickly (presumably)
- Was under huge pressure from day one
- See above

Howe isn't a bad manager. He's just not the manager I think Newcastle need. His success with Bournemouth is the opposite of what he has at Newcastle.

The mags are all over him because he's been appointed by the new regime and isn't Bruce. But that goodwill is on very limited time. Lose to Norwich and Burnley and there will be serious issues

Spot on, he will look like Alan Pardew by May.

I have worked in wallsend for five years and lover in Newcastle. At the minute I just tell they are going to win everything and walk away laughing. There is a good few Sunderland work there.

it will all go tits up it’s what they do.

If the gravy stained bastards have still failed to record a win after Burnley and Norwich you'll not be able to buy a crayon or bedsheet between Benwell and Berwick.
