Personally think Roger and the mods do a great job of running the board and I am pretty sure that the last thing any Sunderland supporter wants is for this place to be shut down or any fellow Sunderland fans get into any bother because of their feelings with all of this.

Yes, we know this takeover is wrong on so many levels and we can have a laugh at them just now, but let's keep our dignity here and not stoop to their levels.

Pissed off that some of our fans are having nibble at each other about this to be honest as we have enough problems of our own at the minute.

I fail to see any issue in telling a horse puncher to eff off on our board when the knackers are defending and deflecting from horrendous human rights abuses.
At least some of them will be sportswashimg bots who know that pressing the report button gets certain mods to do their bidding and hence facilitate the whole sportswashing.

Typo...been up since half fower this morning for work mate and trying to catch up on shenanigans so obviously have taken it the wrong way, thank fuck!!!!!
When I did eventually decide to sign up for here during the temporary ban on registrations I sent a message to the admins to say I would be more than happy to provide a copy of my birth certificate to prove exactly where I come from, it was/still is a shithole but I will always remain proud of where I grew up and the worst thing anyone on here could do is accuse me of being one of them knackers.

That might be and probably is the case from what we know about them, but do you honestly think the members of this board giving Roger and the mods more grief is the answer and is going to solve this?

What happened to that lad is horrendous but it was the unlawful act of a sick and twisted individual. Not state sanctioned by someone like the owners of NUFC.
I worry that some people actually think this way.

I was talking to a new work colleague last night who's from Scotland (Kilmarnock fan). When we started talking about football he said he refuses to support Newcastle because of the takeover and he hopes it goes badly for them.

Nice to see it's not just us that hates them and wants to see them to fail.

I’m not intending to give anyone grief. This board is so popular because of its mixture of humor, passion, intelligence, experience and community spirit. I think it’s risking losing that because some mods have a mixture of naievety and a bit of power mad and are over reacting to normal piss taking and banter. Some of the mags have realized this and hit report at every opportunity. I have no issue calling my mates wankers in the pub and they have no issues calling me the same. That’s why we like the board. If it changes then we may as well look for something different.
