Rainbow Laces campaign for the next couple of weeks in the PL .
how will Newcastle deal with this ?
Will one single player or member of staff have the basic decency to condemn the torture and imprisonment of people for simply being gay in Saudi Arabia
also please keep an eye on the social media accounts of the PL club's .Their English accounts will very prominently feature the Rainbow Laces campaign - and promote equality for all .
meanwhile their Arabic and Chinese accounts will make no mention of the Rainbow Laces campaign - time this was publically called out and condemned .
if Newcastle do this - it will be a great opportunity to highlight their hypocrisy - and to determine who signed off this decision .

They protest too much! 8th choice manager, stupidly promised G Jones he would be safe and not just picking up the cones so now they have join 1st team coach and finally haggling over 200k for backroom staff when you are the richest club in the world.

I honestly think January will be a huge let down for them but not before they are built up into a frenzy with all the speculation.

This is the thing isn’t it. A large chunk are convinced they’re going to buy every trophy going. They’re going to find out pretty sharp that football and the world has moved on significantly since they nearly bought the premier league title way back in its infancy. All top players now have more money than they can spend, they have images and commercial interests to look after. The rumblings are growing louder towards Saudi and Qatar. Even F1 drivers, the ultimate commercial line toeing automatons are sticking 2 fingers up at them with rainbow helmets and whatnot.

As a Newcastle supporter I see nothing whatsoever in my club that I can lend my support to. Even watching the match last Saturday (on telly, they aren't getting another red cent from me) I was actually asking myself if I wanted them to win. Whatever the problems off the pitch I've usually been.able to lose myself in the game once it kicked off. However, the thought of KSA and the Reuben Brothers deriving anything at all from their ownership sickens me. Once you add Reverend Wraith into the mix it's nigh on impossible to maintain any positive feelings. It might be the best thing if we get relegated. I'm sure most on here would agree with that last statement... but it's a big step for me.

Because they want to support it the club won't change to some sort of regime. They are a football club in England and that's it.
