So the Reubens have contributed nearly £1m to the Tory party.
Jamie Reuben is clearly a personal friend of Boris Johnson even going back to when he was London Mayor.
Reuben has several business interests in the Newcastle area including the huge new HMRC premises.
Between Reuben, Staveley, the Prime Minister of the UK and Mohammed bin Salman etc. pressure is put onto the Premier League to let the Saudi Arabia PIF become majority shareholders of NUFC and the Premier League then backtrack and make sure it happens.

There is a lot wrong in the world right now and the UK Govt. clearly has questions to answer over all this?

They are rotten mate. Corrupt to the core. Time was they’d have at least attempted to be discreet about it. These days they don’t give a rats arse who knows. They have indeed got questions to answer. But who is going to ask them?
On this issue in particular the politicians on all sides have largely been struck deaf, dumb, and blind.

There they were outside premier league hq with M&S porridge for days

There they were getting over 100k signatures on a petition

Thetr they were slandering all premier league sponsors on trust pilot

Absolutely nothing they can do to stop it, f***ing pathetic excuse, burry their head in the sand while it suits

didnt pride yourselves on the attractions of Gateshead, didnt use misspelled bed sheet banners,hold mock funerals ,have messianic visions, Wonga sponsorship, and defend a disgusting regime thats drenched in innocent blood .

But why does it cheer you up, if I want cheered up by football I will watch great NUFC games, sometimes against yourselves, I never search YouTube for videos of SAFC losing, I just don't get it....Like I said each to their own, but I fail to undersatnd how NUFC losing a game in the 70's (before I was born) or Sunderland losing in the 70's from my point of view would cause so much Joy, more than watching your club win....lets be honest you have more than a few you could choose from over the last 7 meetings between our clubs....

There is a huge amount they can do. Many things. But questioning the veracity of the accusations levelled at the KSA isn’t one of them. They could issue a statement saying they stand up for their LGBTQ brothers and sisters in the KSA in particular.
They don’t have to “do” anything other than what they did during their campaign to get Ashley to leave.
Or is getting him out more important than human life? Seemingly it is. Just like the rest of the mags, they are thrashing around seeking some kind of non existent justification or mitigation or whatever for what they’ve done. Well, there isn’t any.
And questioning whether or not the horrific treatment of gay people in the KSA is actually true or not beggars belief. I wonder what their thoughts on the Holocaust are?
