Great British Bake Off 2021

Watched it with the bairn this morning, they've given it to Guiseppe over the series being the best, I honestly thought Christelle was going to win until the raw bread FFS.
Had a cry, it was all very lovely and a tad emotional. Jurgen was our favourite, I thought he was robbed to not make the final tbh.
Think I contrasted the joy of the end bit with the misery of I'm a celeb that followed and us conceding against 10 man relegation fodder :)

Bit odd that last week they did it on the basis of who was best or worst on the night( Jurgen) but come the final they clearly too the whole series into account.

No complaints that Guiseppe was a deserved winner mind

She was a bit irritating to begin with but proper came across as quite emotional, genuine and canny as she progressed

Aye found her a bit full on, but does seem pretty genuine and v attractive.

Not that we need more ex bakers for TV shows etc, but you would think she might be a natural ?

Aye mebbe. Aside from Nadiya are any of the previous years still on telly?

This technical is just stupid. Two instructions.
Plus if one of them had happened to have made them before it would have been a huge advantage so hardly shoeing technical superiority

Chigs did come second in tech though and his carrot cake was chewy.
Really tight though and she just had to see out the last 15 mins of the match and do nowt daft......so familiar
Only just watched it, thought it was on tonight but couldn't see it on TV listings so I goggled it and nearly inadvertently saw the winner first 🙈
