For fucks sake.Disagree. Robinson isn't going around branding folk racist/shouting loud wanting to change things.
If anyone was in doubt about how much work we have to do, just look at the state of that.

Perhaps but that then works both ways doesn’t it.I’ve said terrible shit over the years among mates. I meant none of it.
I just don’t see the point in raking over peoples historic private conversations. It serves no purpose other than to extort grovelling apologies to satisfy people who view getting outraged as some kind of hobby.
This is of course assuming that it wasn’t criminal behaviour or harassment.
Vaughans wasn’t a private conversation. It was directed directly at peoplePerhaps but that then works both ways doesn’t it.
No point in raking over what Vaughan or Lloyd said in historic private conversations. Or Hales painting his face for a fancy dress party. Or what someone names a dog or deems as ‘banter’ between mates.
Where is the line drawn? What Rafiq said was disgusting and there isn’t any excuse for it. He said so himself.
AllegedlyVaughans wasn’t a private conversation. It was directed directly at people
Corroborated by others howeverAllegedly
And denied by Vaughan.Corroborated by others however
Not really.And denied by Vaughan.
Either way, the point still stands.
Yes really. It’s neither here nor there: one definitely took place - the other is one person’s word against another. Not really.
one was a private conversation. One was directed directly at someone
Of course it works both ways. But what is absurd is that the actions of Rafiq detract from the actions of others. They don’t, in any way shape or form.Yes really. It’s neither here nor there: one definitely took place - the other is one person’s word against another.
The point remains that if we’re not raking over one’s historic past conversations then it works both ways.
I don’t agree with that premise, but then I’m not the one proposing it.
I’m sorry mate but I’ve completely missed the part where I said it did.Of course it works both ways. But what is absurd is that the actions of Rafiq detract from the actions of others. They don’t, in any way shape or form.
two wrongs never make a right
I never said you had, others have sadlyI’m sorry mate but I’ve completely missed the part where I said it did.
Fine. It makes little difference and the point still stands.I never said you had, others have sadly
I simply pointed out that Vaughans was not a private conversation
And denied by Vaughan.
Really poor comment that mate. Nothing remotely ‘gammon’ about me, or what I said. Why get personal about it?
Gammons: it's one person's word against another
Also gammons: it's one person's word against three others
How many people have to have witnessed this shit for people to accept it happened?
I don’t know about that. Rafiq and Oli Robinson have both been guilty of historic racist tweets when they were teenagers. They were racist and aren’t defended by anyone not even Rafiq himself. That aside lots of people have been very ‘pro Rafiq’ why wouldn’t they be. He’s been in the wrong end of the most horrendous sustained racial abuse imaginable and been effectively mocked by his employer when trying to resolve it. I’m shocked at how many white people even today aren’t desperately supportive of Rafiq and what he has went through and his Facebook message a decade ago doesn’t change that. Many people should take the line of the Jewish council who accept his apology unconditionally and are supportive of him moving firward.Fine. It makes little difference and the point still stands.
I’ve seen very little evidence of it on here really. People have been swift to jump on anything that isn’t perceived as pro-Rafiq.
Gaslighting. An allegation is no longer an allegation when there are multiple witnesses.Really poor comment that mate. Nothing remotely ‘gammon’ about me, or what I said. Why get personal about it?
It’s an allegation at the end of the day, whether you like it or not. That’s all it is.
To be fair, he does post a lot on this forumGaslighting. An allegation is no longer an allegation when there are multiple witnesses.
I don't remember you posting much on this sub-forum before. Why the sudden interest?
