I'd hazard a guess that they will be later this year once they've decided what they're doing with Yorkshire.
Yup and football in general for me. Love my cricket.I'll certainly be making a bigger effort with Durham next year. My interest with Sunderland has declined ridiculously since lockdown so have more cash from cutting down on regular away trips and home game days in town. OP can probably relate more than anyone tbf![]()
Very jealous. My calendar will still look very empty apart from a few internationals.Thought so much. Just want to get stuck in with booking annual leave and look at a couple of away games possibly

I'll give you a tip- Derby's ground is that cold it makes the Co Durham Upper seem like Barbados.I don't do international games, ECB don't get a penny off me.
We are in the same division as Glamorgan, Leicestershire and Derbyshire, all grounds I've never been to. In an ideal world we are hoping for Colwyn Bay but we shall see.
Might do a few local counties, Derby, Notts, Durham (not lancs) but will be avoiding anywhere the racists are playing.I don't do international games, ECB don't get a penny off me.

One Day Cup away days will grab our attention as we had a couple of great days this year away, maybe get to some out-grounds for example.

Absolutely. The first lockdown broke the habit I'd had for 20 odd years. Had to either be at a Sunderland game or in front of a tele/radio with with it onYup and football in general for me. Love my cricket.
I'd happily go to Scarborough if YCCC weren't playing. I don't think they have done any wrong and may suffer financially through no fault of their own if (big if as I still feel that many will not be boycotting the club, certainly if my group is representative of Yorkshire cricket followers as a whole) there is a boycott of YCCC.I'll avoid telling the wife that
We had a wonderful time at Scarborough this year, but I'll find it difficult to go if we play their next year after what has gone on as much as I'd want to go and support Durham, difficult decision and it will be interesting to see how folk react to that.
I'm just hoping for a kind fixture list
Good point about dead rubbers in a bigger single division.I like the two divisions personally. Gives more teams meaningful games towards the end of the season. Fair enough there are still a few dead rubber in div 2, but not as many as there would be with 1 division (and of course the dreadful conference system we've endured for the last two years)

As i understand it none of the money from the neutral Durham game went to YCCC last season
My passion for the club has completely evaporated sadly. I'll never forget walking out at lunch on the first day of a potentially title deciding match against Warks towards the end of last season, a day or so after something particularly damning came out from Rafiq. I just wasn't interested. I turned up hoping I'd get into it once play started but I couldn'tI admire your principles but if I were a Yorkie I’d be getting behind a new ‘cleansed’ club mind. Suspect they need all of the help they can get now.
I think the main culprits will be long gone by April.
I'm just pleased last year's ridiculous format has been binned. What are you thoughts on going back to the ‘proper’ two division season in 2022?
For me selfishly, with Gloucestershire getting promotion in 2018 I would have annoyed if we never got a chance to actually play in Division 1 so glad we do now. But then I am still bitter we have never ‘officially’ won the CC despite WC Grace regularly steering us to be ‘unofficial’ champions before the league got formalised. His corpse may have risen if were denied a Division 1 spot after the promotion.
I do think the CC is a mess though full stop. I would have one division of 18 teams but make it a two year tournament. So play 17 teams one year, home or away, and then the reverse home or away the following year. Everyone playing everyone is the best way for a proper league.
