That's not what I'm saying at all. I'm saying I can understand why their fans are saying it's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things in their specific circumstances. Because if they're going to spend to the level people expect, one relegation is merely a slight delay, it isn't going to stop determined people with 300bn or whatever making a football club successful. If we were bought by them and at risk of a relegation you'd be saying exactly the same. Do you honestly think if they go down it's all fucked? It's only fucked if they're shit at running a club or if they aren't wanting to spend big money, in which case it's fucked anyway. If they can appoint the right people, with that much money, if they have the ambition to challenge man City, a relegation won't derail the whole thing. They'd be straight back and still compete in a few years. Mental to think otherwise tbh, it's wishful thinking

At this stage no one knows what the Saudi's intentions are, they could be going all out PSG or Man City or alternatively they could be using the club as a PR stunt and money laundering scam
Stavely has zero experince running a football club, if we see changes in the heirachy and they bring in proven successful people we'll likely find out
The truth is any mag who genuinely believes Howe is going to take the mags to Champions League is either deluded or stupid, I doubt many would admit it but most will completely underwelmed by the progress to date

I agree. But again, relegation won't be the determining factor which is why I'm not surprised they aren't too worried. If they aren't wanting to be a man city they'll be shit regardless. If they are, then a relegation won't matter. My hope is that they aren't doing it for the reasons the mags hope, in which case a relegation could fuck them. But if I was one of them and was hopeful of their intentions I wouldn't be thinking a relegation was the end of the world

I literally replied to one post that suggested they were surprised the mags weren't too concerned about the prospect when it's quite obvious why they wouldn't be, I'll still laugh my tits off when / if it happens and hope it all goes to shit
