Put a flat earthier into space

No, I haven't changed my mind on the wobble. You and others don't get what I'm saying because you don't accept the Earth would be wobbling because you think your north pole is consistently pointed at your north star as your Earth spins around your big centralised sun in your space vacuum.
It's easy to see how this can't be the case which I've shown.

On your drawing, yes.

Yes you did and I went with that map as two areas above the circle. You think they're two hemispheres.

Fair enough, that's your mindset.

Strangely like on a dome....right?

Your Earth isn't entirely spherical....right? It's apparently oblate...right?

They are not on a spinning globe.
The North Star is a long, long way away. Think of a big number..... no, MUCH bigger. HUGE! Even bigger than that.
The North Pole appears to always point at Polaris because it's so far away that you'd never notice the shift. Dealt with over a hundred pages back.

On my drawing? That's not my drawing, it's a star map available at all good bookshops and some crap ones.
Yes, it shows two circles, how else would you portray their 3D appearance in 2D?
I know it's probably a silly question, but you do understand that those two circles meet and match up perfectly around their circumference?

"Strangely like on a dome?" Not exactly, which is the point. Your dome is one hemisphere. The planisphere is spherical. It doesn't fit on the dome. It cant. No matter what bits of science and physics you discount and ignore, it doesn't fit on your dome.

Yes, the globe is slightly oblate, hardly a surprise at this stage.

"They are not on a spinning globe." Of course they are not on a spinning globe, we are.

We are told the north star is always above your head at the north pole.
Are you now saying it just appears so but it really isn't?

And yet distance is somehow measured.

You still offered it.

I accepted it for that purpose.

Yes, I understand how the globe system is portrayed with this.
I'm simply offering the alternate to it.
"Strangely like on a dome?" Not exactly, which is the point.
Your dome is one hemisphere.
Correct it's one but two halves of it can appear like two hemisphere for anyone either side of it but can be mapped as two hemispheres, as your diagram shows.
The planisphere is spherical. It doesn't fit on the dome. It cant. No matter what bits of science and physics you discount and ignore, it doesn't fit on your dome.
Of course it doesn't, as that drawing.

Buy you're arguing against my dome not being half a sphere.
"They are not on a spinning globe." Of course they are not on a spinning globe, we are.
No we are not.
How is it detected? Where are the records of pressure changes matching tidal flows?
That depends on how you wish to look at it.
What's the detection on this supposed gravity change that supposedly effects tidal flows? Any idea?

Instead of deflecting try answer the question. You said pressure changes cause tides, where are the pressure/tidal records to support that.

Why ask me about gravity, I never mentioned it in this context?

You're asking me about pressure being detected. I'm saying it depends on how you see it.
I then ask you to explain how tides are detected through gravity. If you don't know just say so.
If you need time to look it up then that's fine. I'm patient.

It is detected.
Ok let's look at it your way.
What causes the tides from your point of view.
Explain it nice and simple and how it works.
Here is the tide times for Newcastle.

Here is the atmospheric pressure for Newcastle.

It starts rising through the day, carries on past high tide and is still rising beyond the evening low tide.

If there's pressure manipulating the tides why does it rise and why are no drops detected when the tide goes out?

It doesn't matter "how you see it" atmospheric pressure is measured, tide times are measured. Show a correlation between the two.

If you were at the north pole then yes, Polaris would appear overhead. You're doing some weapons grade misunderstanding if you think I said otherwise, and yes, the distance has been measured.

Yes, I offered the star map... What's your problem with that? It's a map of the stars which is what I wanted to show.

If you understand "how the globe system works" then you will also understand that a full SPHERE will not fit on a HEMISPHERE.
How is your dome NOT a "half a sphere" then? What fantastical shape have you decided this dome is now?

And yes, we are.

Drops will be detected when the tide goes out.

I can't directly show you anything.
Can you explain why tides work?

Where are the drops in data he provided? You said they will be there, where are they.

It doesn't matter if I can explain how tides work or not. You have said how they work, I'm just looking for your data to support that idea

Is it overhead or does it appear to be?

It's a map of points of light that are show on two separate circles or domes or hemispheres, depending on how it's looked at.
Is there anywhere on Earth where points of light groups ( star constellations to you) appearing the opposite way up depending on where you stand?
If you understand "how the globe system works" then you will also understand that a full SPHERE will not fit on a HEMISPHERE.
Not in the drawings...no.
How is your dome NOT a "half a sphere" then?
It sort of, is.
What fantastical shape have you decided this dome is now?
Just dome but not an exact perfect half sphere...but it doesn't matter, it's not really needed ion terms of argument.
And yes, we are.
Nope.

Drops will be detected when the tide goes out.

They aren't detected though.

High tide is 14.58. The the tide then starts going out.
At 15.00 the pressure is 1021 hPa.
At 16.00 it is 1022 hPa
At 19.00 1023 hPa

At low tide at 21.13 it is 1023 hPa
At 23.00 as the tide is coming in 1023hpa.

At 03.04 on Friday morning, high tide occurs. The pressure will be 1022 hPa
At low tide on Friday morning at 09.31 the pressure is 1023 hPa

So where is the pressure drop in correlation with the tides?

It's ok. You can't explain and have no clue yet you feel you can answer against what I'm saying. No issue here.
Look it up and see what it says about tides.

You think there's no pressure rise or drop on the oceans/seas. No problem. You have some data and you don't see anything. Ok you go with that, naturally.

Let's move on.
Can you explain what causes the tides and why the tides happen in terms of a force, because there has to be a force change for the tides to happen....right?
It can't be magic....right?

I know you'll mention gravity but I want to know how it works for tides.
Any idea?
If you think I'm changing it up....I am. You see, if you want to argue it then stump it with what you believe you know.

The pressure that stops just short of the shoreline so isn't detected on land barometers?

Show me some data please.

You seem to be labouring under the impression that I have suggested how tides work, I haven't.

You have, you have said there is a casual link between atomospheric pressure and tides. I am just asking you for the data that supports that view

So you can answer why you can have low pressure weather and high tides and vice versa in fact any pressure weather with high or low tides.
So you deflect again.
Oooh it's sketch eve tonight too, I hope I get a good sleep for the big reveal!
Can't wait to finally understand the cross section and seas of lemon squeezer world

You seem to be labouring under the impression that I have suggested how tides work, I haven't.
I'm asking you to tell me how they work in your world. That's all. You have no interest in mine so I'd like your explanation.
You have, you have said there is a casual link between atomospheric pressure and tides.
I believe it 100%.
I am just asking you for the data that supports that view
I don't have the data to offer.
@Nukehasslefan - would you care to explain your 'natural projector'? What it actually is, where it is located, how it came to be, how it exists and continues to exist? What is it's function? How do you know it's there?
Are you interested?
