Newcastle United Football Company Ltd (as subsidiary of NU) has issued 1 share for £90m. If I had to guess I'd say this was to capitalise an inter-company loan between it and NU.

Unless, of course, this is yet another example to filing documents late.

I wish I had the time to dig deeper but snowed atm (I know should keep off here). But for anyone who likes finance and governance the set up is intriguing.

Tbf all the comments below seem to be from Mags criticising him. That said that is a mental thing to even think let alone write on an open social media platform

He fined the clubs involved … do try and keep up …
After the fan uproar. He had previously stated on record he was fine with it.
Also, I'd hardly crow about that. The punishment was a joke. Derby have been docked 19 points this season for financial irregularities. This isn't the fans fault and yet they are punished accordingly. These shitty owners wanted to destroy the entire integrity of the sport we love and they don't fined peanuts.

Interesting development. He stuck out against the crazy new league but seems to have totally misread the tea leaves re the Mags.
He's had two catastrophes in less than 12 months.

The ESL - and subsequent lack of punishment - will have pissed off the teams that weren't part of it, and then letting the Saudi's join pissed off the other 19 teams (and likely teams outside of the Premier League).

I have spent years in Saudi Arabia within the last 40 years. Doing What? you ask.
1. Teaching them how to use Global level Business IT systems.
2. Building, extending, repairing Global level Business IT Systems.
3. Training their employees to pretend they know how to use those systems (with my despairing objectives of actually getting them to be awake for long enough to be able to do so ).

Laziness is their key. Their usual plan is to take a senior job and then hire a European or American to actually do the work for them.
Key two is fundamental dishonesty.
Key three is passing decision making to "somebody else" without providing any facts for the decision, then blaming them for failure.

All building up to the result. Failure --- but never their fault.
Yep, sounds about right.

We had to go over and do their sea trials for them, their own sailors literally spent the week in their beds and we did all their work.

Nevermind - cha ching!

I’m not sure that “fan uproar” can affect Premier League decision making, unless you can show us another example of course……………?🤔
