Hate beats love

also nufc fans pay money to watch sunderland regularly,
I wasn't saying we didn't have knackers 🤣
It was a condition of the deal being approved, and is subject to PL sanctions.
That was the state. They have apparently proven this isn't the case hence the fact that he is our chairman and not MBS. Even if we all know that's absolute bollocks, apparently they had legally binding proof. If the EPL could argue it, they would have. They couldn't.

Tracey Crouch's investigation will be very interesting indeed.

I have alluded to your final point a few times on here. Presumably the consortium shareholder agreement requires parity of funding in line with the equity holdings, the PIF crew won't be increasing the value of the business whilst the others don't or can't pay their way. Maybe they will issue and buy up new capital and simply dilute Queen Manda out, perhaps the Reubens can/will meet their share of funding requirement or they too will vanish. Possibly the plan is to spend so 'little' that it's not actually a big deal for the Reubens but whichever way you cut it it's hard to see Staveley lasting as a stakeholder, maybe a paid executive director though.

Those in the know say that Queen Mandy has borrowed from PIF. Price of Football already reported equity increased by 38m, which Mandy will be on the hook for 3.8m. If they spend big it could be a big loan for Queen Mandy and makes you wonder what the end game is?

I can certainly see approvals being passed to an independent regulator, and both PL and EFL having their wings clipped.

Indeed.

I used to work for Vosper Thornycroft and was part of the project to update maintenance manuals for Saudi's Al Jawf class minehunters.

Whole thing was an absolute nightmare because of the points you've raised. A two year project took four year thanks to the hideously slow decision making of the Saudis.

Any mags thinking they are going to storm up the league within five years are in for a rude awakening.

Let the meltdowns commence! 🙂
I have spent years in Saudi Arabia within the last 40 years. Doing What? you ask.
1. Teaching them how to use Global level Business IT systems.
2. Building, extending, repairing Global level Business IT Systems.
3. Training their employees to pretend they know how to use those systems (with my despairing objectives of actually getting them to be awake for long enough to be able to do so ).

Laziness is their key. Their usual plan is to take a senior job and then hire a European or American to actually do the work for them.
Key two is fundamental dishonesty.
Key three is passing decision making to "somebody else" without providing any facts for the decision, then blaming them for failure.

All building up to the result. Failure --- but never their fault.

Good luck Mags / Mugs

Perhaps they see her as strategic (white and English) and are therefore happy to fund her share as a loan + interest no doubt (unless it's sharia debt!), gets repaid on eventual exit assuming they sell at a big profit, failing that she gets fed to the camels.

Newcastle United have not reported any increase in share capital. The holding company, PZ Newco, has had a share issue of £305m, which would appear to relate to the purchase price of the shares in Newcastle United Ltd. If there's been an increase in the share capital of any of the subsidiaries of NU, then it looks more like capital restructuring the new investment. as that would need to be put into NU first

Can you explain this? I saw it said they have 'legal separation but their name is literally PIF of Saudi Arabia. I don't get how it could be any less subtle than that.

Nothing surprises me after recent events.

If someone told me twenty years ago watching 9/11 that NUFC would be bought by the same people, that fans would beg the UK government to make it happen, they’d have fancy dress tea parties with imaginary people and they’d insist that robots were people I wouldn’t believe it but here we are.
Nothing that these thick Orcs do surprises me anymore, just sit back and watch it unfold

You picked up on this the other day. I am trusting Kieran on this as it fits in with Queen Mandy's statement on 38m of new equity. Perhaps it will follow. He also knocks about with her fav lawyer and is fairly clued up on all things mag.

I don't know how he manages it mind. He seems to be genuinely disliked by almost all mags (with the exception of a few sycophants on twitter) and yet still manages to get wheeled onto shows etc as some sort of voice of the Newcastle fans. Fuck me you lot think he's as much of a whopper as we do, and when that's one of the only things that the two sets of fans agree on you really must be a prize wanker
We both dislike Bruce. Does that count as well?

Newcastle United Football Company Ltd (as subsidiary of NU) has issued 1 share for £90m. If I had to guess I'd say this was to capitalise an inter-company loan between it and NU.

Unless, of course, this is yet another example to filing documents late.
