I've always been one of the rare fans that would rather see them do well (as long as we're doing better). I know too many decent people who happen to support Newcastle to hate them.

But now they're not even a football club anymore, they're effectively a franchise owned by a brutal regime. A once great club now a sports washing project. The Premier League is to blame, but the fans revelling in it should take some of the blame.

I'm sure it's exciting to become the richest club in the world, but I think eventually it'll wear off and they'll wonder if it was all worth it. I'm not sure whether that will be after they buy their third Carabao Cup or whenever but it will happen.

Tbh, I don't think Man City fans give a ff that they've "bought" all their silverware since 2011, and, been very very "slippery" regarding FFP. How they got away with that sponsorship deal with the Airways is ludicrous.

Could be a bit late for that. I'd not wish anyone to get hurt bit he's courting with a regime that dosent ffuck about. If he's doing it to look impressive ten it's failing and if he's actually on the ksa payroll (wouldn't suprise me tbh) then he's never gonna get off that train even if he tries.

I got blocked in similar circumstances when I was on Twitter. Didn’t even give me the chance to take the piss out of him. Weird as well given my location is newcastle and I rarely posted football stuff on it

Surely Wraith is finished after this, absolutely zero credibility left anymore.....sad thing is he'll be dragging a childs name through the mud with him as well. It's all a bit weird and creepy now, and getting more so by the day. No amount of flippant tweets and laughing this off as spite and trolls from Wraith will make this go away. He's got enough haters within the NUFC fanbase alone with his attention seeking bellendery to make sure this will run on and on until it's settled either way.

Mind I'm fully expecting a random lass to pop up soon in the role of Kate Stewart, first time I've seen the comment she lives in London, very convenient then as no one in the NE i.e. the majority of NUFC fanbase will know her. In a way I'm hoping this happens as it's going to be fascinating to see how creative the lie can get as once people have a face they are going to want further details, work details, online footprint, history, answers to the frequency/saudi language tweeting etc

He's got a lot of good will in the bank with fans for his instrumental role in helping secure the appointment of Unai Emrey. Without him the deal would have fell through
