Johnson said he spoke with donald and the word was apparently that kld agreed with the appointment.maybe did speak with him. I had no problem with the jack ross appointment, but then the guy went nuts and thought playing no striker up front in a cup final for the last half hour was a good tactic. To also not get us promoted with the squad he had was criminal. So yes we tried an upcoming manager and it didnt work. We wernt to know, but it is a guarantee grayson, parkinson and johnson before there appointments will never work. Their records are there for all to see.

Absolutely spot on, it’s just my opinion but think there is a very strong chance Donald made his money back and more from selling only part of the shares he had.

Trouble is they both keep coming back.
Charlie coming back into any role at our club either as front of house which personally don’t see happening or hiding away behind the scenes would still be a disaster, really would be a big worry, just would say that KLD is either then buying Charlie’s or at least one of that’s lot bullshit or possibly worse still KLD maybe getting bullied by said horror bags as possibly he doesn’t have the 50% + in share’s we all thought he had.

The purchase price was quite clearly £37 million. Its a complete irrelevance what the seller did with that money tbh. Saying donald has put in cash over and above the purchase price feels disingenuous at best.

Does no one think that given Methvens record with us, the fact he used to post/read this forum, he's done it to throw a spanner in? I've doubted the capacity they all still have in the club, but he can't even get a new polo. Maybe he's been invited over by JS and has invited Harvey along on the basis of it being a scouting trip, knowing fine well the uproar he could cause between the fans by doing so little as appearing in a photo. It would be very much a Methven thing to do knowing what he thinks of the fans.

But as has been pointed out several times donakd said the 25 million would come from him and not the club. There's quotes from him on this thread staring that.

He has also clearly articulated that he will pay that parachute money back.

But you still insist he the sale price was £12.7 million..it has never been articulated, to my knowledge, from donald that he paid 12.7. It has been stated more than once by him that he paid 37 million.

I'm no expert but in the mythical scenario where you've made out you've paid 37 million for something when the correct sale price was 12.7 million; would that not constitute as accounting fraud?

I think what can be said with pretty good certainty is he left his days to day responsibilities around the club a while back when it was publicised (Conor the lad from Roker Rapport was pretty clear on this, his department reported into him up until that point, then they had no further dealing with him).

Whatever this boys trip is about who knows, I do recall from back in the podcast days they did that Charlie used to do other PR stuff with Juan, but this clearly included some club business.

I’m a bit slow to be fair but what are we angry about here? The fact our head of recruitment and methven (who i thought was still involved in the club. And methven resigned from his club role around two years ago (generally when you resign you stop undertaking duties), so yes people were under the impression he wasnt undertaking any safc related activity.
