Being a Newcastle fan and supporter of Newcastle United or honest that we have owners that are part of a regime that is hated by many people?
If it's the latter, what do you want me to say other than I do not condone atrocities in any way shape or form but accept that I'm part of it like billions and billions are if the argument comes down to partaking in anything that those parties are part of, in whatever size of capacity..

I'll argue my corner.

I don't have a geordie heritage.

Morals are subjective. I can't get away from stating this.

No. I came here well before I knew the club was to be taken over and my stance was always to be not wanting it. I have nothing to apologise for as regards to my stance on Newcastle United.

Fans will do what fans do. Some will embrace all kinds of stuff others will not. But one common thing they do embrace is being a fan of the football club. This applies to all fans of all clubs and all sports.

Id deflecting is arguing a corner then that's what it is. The grade upon which you place it is irrelevant.

If that's the case then what am I expected to do?
Don't you think the government and FA should decide this?
As long as fairness is cast out to all people in this country who are part of what's deemed as unacceptable behaviour by out standards, then I'm happyh enough to go along with that.
Is this the case?

You are free to analyse whatever you wish. I'm sure geordies are well versed in the hatred/dislike/ribbing/banter just as you are well versed in certain geordie hatred/dislike/ribbing/banter, against people of Sunderland. It's a rival/territorial thing for some and consistent attempted, one-upmanship.

Nott sure what that means.

For who?

For who?

“Honest about what?“

About being complete hypocrites at best for moaning about Ashley’s practices and deflecting away from your new owners practices. At worst being the footsoldiers of a sick regimes very obvious attempts to use football to deflect away from the horrors they commit.

“I'll argue my corner.“

That’s the point that makes most people wanna vow right now. Your trying to talk your way out of an evil regime using a sport we all love to sportswash their human rights atrocities purely because it’s “your corner” 🤮🤮🤮

“I don't have a geordie heritage.“
Maybe not but your embraced their culture that I speak of

“Morals are subjective. I can't get away from stating this.”

Another poster says it way more eloquently and succinctly than me

“His "argument" doesn't remotely stand up to philosophical scrutiny (source: GOM Jr PhD - moral and political philosophy). There are valid moral philosophical arguments around whether behaviours are morally right or wrong. However, once general agreement is reached, say we agree that it is fundamentally wrong to throw homosexuals from the top of tall buildings, then that is a moral absolute. To change a moral response to a behaviour as a result of external events is not moral behaviour, and is more akin to sociopathy. It's becoming wearisome having to explain this repeatedly to ill-informed Mags.“

“No. I came here well before I knew the club was to be taken over and my stance was always to be not wanting it. I have nothing to apologise for as regards to my stance on Newcastle United”

Maybe but trolling the rivalry fans forum of the team you support indicates some troubled mental issues that professional help would most likely help

“If deflecting is arguing a corner then that's what it is. The grade upon which you place it is irrelevant.”

So here your admitting to deflecting and justifying the atrocities your new owners commit purely for the reason that they are your new owners. It is you embracing the geordie culture I speak of that is both incredibly distasteful and because of the seriousness of the horrors your new owners commit very dangerous.

Make the tiniest bit of noise that something are slightly more important than football. Do one of your famous geordie demos, protest marches or signature gatherings to say actually we don’t want to be a porn in this psychopaths game.

Someone with Twitter eg Exile should invite Kate

someone with Twitter eg Exile should invite her to prove she is real by posting a video of herself reading out today’s date.

id imagine this geezer pretending to be her is in Saudi Arabia so wouldn’t have easy access to a random white Geordie woman who could pretend to be her…
I'll do it later. I'm at the bairns footy qt mo

A Saudi official pretending to be someone called Kate Stewart, who has been named in court documents (as a saudi official close to the regime) , to promote the Saudi regime on twitter.

Steve Wraith has posted a photo of a kit kit zebra to prove she isn't a saudi official sportwashing, and indeed a real person who has been comparing Staveley to Princess Diana.

And the mags are being taken in by it.
A Saudi official who, according to the CIA, was heavily involved in the Khashoggi murder no less.

Thanks for that ! Just gets more weird, and Wraith the Rev/Imam seems to have finally gone completely gaga 🤪

I agree it is hypocritical.

I absolutely disagree with this but if you want to go back down the rabbit hole we can work out who lumps into this category of thought. I'd say most and I don't mean just Newcastle fans or people..

Nahhh. I'm simply arguing one corner of a bigger argument that includes most and only comes down to arguments over the morals of small to larger percentages of complicity. Back down the rabbit hole.

I embrace Newcastle United which is in Newcastle. That's it.
I embrace Newcastle United fans.

It doesn't change it.

If debating is trolling then fair enough. If coming to a forum of a rival is not welcome then something needs to be done.
Are you happy to just have Sunderland fans debating?

I'm not justifying anything of the sort.

I can scream from a rooftop and type out a few letters or make a banner. Do you think I'll make a difference to anything?

Do one of your famous geordie demos, protest marches or signature gatherings to say actually we don’t want to be a porn in this psychopaths game.
And that'll get rid of the owners...right?
Is there anywhere in this country...not just football that has owners of countries abusing human rights and being barbaric?
Or is it just Newcastle United the unlucky club that managed to attract a regime?

If there are others then shouldn't the entire country and government simply say we don't want them part of our country?
If fairness is all around then I'd have no issues with it.
Are sweets proof of a person's identity?
No.

It will be very interesting to see what the much talked about ‘Online harms bill’ will do about foreign bot farms and foreign agents who abuse and troll U.K. citizens.

You’d imagine with alll the cyber security know how of M15 cyber security and Twitter on side, these bot farms could be closed down.

Am I missing something?

Chronicle claiming Newcastle owners have spent £38m on something since the takeover, what is it?

Take a look here -

The equity in NUFC is now the original 305m + 38m.

No idea if Mandy or RB's contributed their 3.8m to maintain the 80/10/10. Suggestion is she borrowed the money from PIF.
