St Pauli have an anti nazi stance and the club badge is used as a bit of an emblem to show such a leaning.
I was not saying that his views carry more or less weight, but commending the fact that he chose to speak out against the owners of the football team that his paying audience clearly supported. The opposite of the sports washing that has been the topic on this thread recently.

The gig had all the old hits plus stuff from their latest covers album, it was excellent!
