Downie needs help for his sycophancy. This Mag takeover has really shown some of these media types for the arrogant simpletons that they are. They’ll never be forgotten for all this when the shit hopefully hits the fan for the sportswashers.

I know where you are coming from, but you are effectively saying that the press should not be allowed to use satire. I cant remember anybody sticking up for Steve Bruce "mr potato head" etc he suffered loads about his weight etc but maybe if you are a bloke fair game. Yes its childish but you could argue that for "Have I got news for you" do we ban that? I dont want to go down a censorship road orher than children should be protected 100%. Tilly Ramsey was criticised about her weight but it was ok for her father to have a go at numerous people over the years. I genuinely feel sorry for people who go about their daily lives and get abuse for how they look but Amanda Staveley / Tilly Ramsey et al seem to be love the adulation and being in the spotlight but dont dare criticise them.
