You could have campaigned and boycotted the club en mass, emailed sponsors telling them you won’t accept the club if this new ownership could take control.

If you GENUINELY felt so helpless and powerless than none of you would have boycotted and protested against Ashley if you didn’t believe those actions could result in the desires change.

You could have written the Premier League to campaign to get them to add a morality clause into the ownership test but instead you did the opposite and bashed on about evil Premier League with their agenda holding up the takeover.

There was A LOT you could have done you just CHOSE not to.
Instead they waged a campaign involving local politicians, members of parliament, raised a petition signed by roughy double their average attendance at the mosque on the incline, visited the Houses of Parliament ( they were shut but you know) camped out outside PL HQ, backed a legal action, and all to have the KSA in place as the owners of their club (it isn’t their club but they haven’t realised yet)
But aye, there’s nothing they could do to stop it. They make me f**king vomit.

I've donated to Amnesty International for 25 years because I believe in what they stand for.
Ok, fair enough.
The reaction of fans like yourself sickens me.
That's your choice and you're obviously entitled to that thought.
If you believed in justice and freedom you'd walk away.
I do believe in justice and freedom but if we want to argue this then we all have to walk away from somethings.
Honestly, that phrase bandied about on the day of takeover "We've got our club back" couldn't be further from the truth. You lost your club that day. I'd pity you if you weren't so complicit.
I've always had a club so it doesn't apply to me.

Not going to waste my time debating it with you when you clearly have nothing to say and seem to be morally bankrupt. You have my pity though, I couldn’t imagine living without moral integrity, it’s the one thing I know no one can ever take from me.
Mate, the geezer you’re replying to thinks the earth is flat. Seems he’s pretty much representative of their support at this time.

Maybe.
I suppose we could all collectively get a decent government in if we all campaigned en masse and boycotted everything that gained government officials their riches...etc...etc....etc.

I didn't want Ashley out so I didn't feel any need to boycott.

Surely they could've done this or the government or the entire country bar Newcastle fans who are deemed not to want it.
Surely that majority would've carried the torch....right?
What happened?
If it'd been stopped I wouldn't have been crying over it.
There was A LOT you could have done you just CHOSE not to.
I chose not to because I know there nothing to choose.
I'm a Newcastle United football fan and I'll leave the politics to those who can genuinely deal with the ethics of those politics. The current politicians don't seem to have any if they're not all het up like you are.
Surely they should be...right?

All mags and mag journos are wanking themselves into a coma about how hard Eddie Howe works and how meticulous he is, forgetting the fact it’s done a fat lot of good as he got Bournemouth relegated

I'm not defending Saudi Arabia.
Will you condemn it then? Tell it how it is as regards human rights and how sections of your fans would be treat if they lived in the same country as your owners.

There was nothing the fans could do. Ashley sold up when he seen fit.
You protested enough when he was here. You could have all gone to his shops and shout for him to accept one of the other offers on the table. Didn’t see you doing that.
Nope. He wanted the Saudi deal over any other deal. So did the fans. you marched on parliament. 100k+ petition. All because you wanted owners worth 300bn not paupers who only had a few billion.
Accept the consequences of your actions.

No, I didn't.

Because I wasn't one hounding him out.
Nope. He wanted the Saudi deal over any other deal.
That's his business, not mine.
So did the fans.
Not me.
you marched on parliament.
No I didn't
100k+ petition.
And?
All because you wanted owners worth 300bn not paupers who only had a few billion.
I would hazard a guess many would.
Accept the consequences of your actions.
I have. My actions were too support Newcastle United and I've been on a roller coaster ride to heaven and hell and everything in between like all clubs.
He knocked you back. Originally thought it was to stay at Rangers. Really he has a bit moral compass.
Fair enough if that's his stance. I'm glad we didn't get him though.

unfortunately individuals like you have been drowned out by the > 90% majority who were begging for these to buy you. thats what people see.

I think it does.

That depends on the point being made. It seems mixed as in having a go at a regime and lumping everyone into it in any way shape or form. I call it bitterness.

Nothing to address other than what I've already said.

I wouldn't call it deflecting. I'd call it not wanting to get people stirred up into a hate filled frenzy.

Really you "think it does"?!

When a SAFC fan says "your owner is the ruler of a kingdom that has killed 100,000 people in a proxy war in Yemen"?
The fact that its a SAFC fan saying it doesn't change the absolute truth of that statement.
It's true.

When a SAFC fan says "your owner is believed to be directly responsible for the murder of a journalist critical of him in a KSA consulate in a foreign country by assassins flown in on PIF purchased jets"?
The fact that its a SAFC fan saying it doesn't change the absolute truth of that statement.
It's true.

When a SAFC fan says "your fans wanted to be taken over by the KSA so much that groups lobbied and abused the Premier League on a daily basis for months and 110,000 of them signed a petition to the government to allow it?"
The fact that its a SAFC fan saying it doesn't change the absolute truth of that statement.
It's true.

When a SAFC fan says "the KSA has a terrible record of human rights for women and minority groups, and women who have sex outside of marriage or men who have sex with men are put to death?"
The fact that its a SAFC fan saying it doesn't change the absolute truth of that statement.
It's true.

Whilst it might be comforting for you to think I have an agenda and therefore you shouldn't place much emphasis on what I say?

None of the above is opinion, therefore your belief that 'because its SAFC fans making those points they aren't valid' is actually a lie.

Maybe.

you very predictably ignored my post about how you’d feel if your gay club supporters were being put to death and female fans being not allowed to drive to matches but a part from that not a bad effort.

Are you suddenly blaming all football fans for not kicking up a stink and preventing the takeover….?? 🤣🤣🙈

You’re something else!

I'm a German citizen and I'll leave the politics to those who can genuinely deal with the ethics of those politics. The current politicians don't seem to have any if they're not all het up about all these Jews going to holiday camps like you are.
Surely they should be...right?
