I accept where we are because there is absolutely nothing I can do to change it. That's not saying that I'm happy with it, far from it. However, I gave up on worrying about things I have zero control of a long time ago. No amount of me ranting, spitting my dummy, making demands, not accepting the situation, or anything else I might do, is going to make a jot of difference. The only thing the average fan can do, without coming across as a spoilt brat, is to attend matches or not.

safc are a league one club with a league one manager. [remier league managers work for premier league clubs..they wont work in league one and thats because they are premier league managers.

id say this owner has failed if its not within five years
Sheff Utd were the same until they appointed Chris Wilder and he turned them into a Premier League clubs in very short order. The Manager/Head Coach is the absolute key here. The support structure around the head coach is second to none for this level and better than most Championship clubs. Its is not definite that Lee Johnson is not the man to change our status but all the evidence is that he is not that man. Shame.

So ,you pay your fee to attend the match. Loads of mistakes, passes going to nobody ,miles away from the intended target. You shrug your shoulders. We go to sleep defending a corner, the oppo. score ,oh dear. You shrug your shoulders. We get beat playing abysmal football, the team selection and set up are all wrong, you tut.You buy a burger on the way out,it's cold and raw in the middle, you go ape shit with the vendor, call him incompetent etc .Maybe you just accept it ,eat it and be ill ? Don't think so ! I say my peace otherwise things NEVER change.

which is why i don't understand how he was appointed. Surely with such a major appointment some level of success should be considered. What has he got on his CV that made them decide to appoint him?

lee johsnon was successful at the two clubs he managed before BCFC

Both Sheff Utd and Wilder are in much better situations than us and you know it. You know exactly the point I am making but are choosing to ignore it. My point is that the Manager/Head Coach is the key appointment and there is plenty of evidence to suggest that Lee Johnson is the wrong appointment if you view promotion as your target.

Having a piss and moan at the match is a different thing altogether. Coming on here and pissing and moaning is a different story. However, if you find it so objectionable, you've got two real choices. You either stop going or you buy the club. Everything else is simply hot air. Ranting and raving on here doesn't change anything.

Your choice, yet you are on here having a pop at other people,( Think about it Saint Sam )

The bad times make the good times feel better. We’ll be back in the Premier League at some point, but for now we’ve got to put up with being shite for a bit longer
You know, I think I'd be content with this... if we were in the Championship.

But being in this league is beneath this club and we need to attend to the task of escaping it with some f***ing alacrity.

Johnson OUT.

I believe they went for stability. LJ had 4 straight top half finishes and some would see that as success, because at the time stability was being requested on here. We need stability WITH progress and we are just not seeing any sort of progress on the pitch or the League Table.

we are higher up the table now than when he joined..so progress has luterally happened

I think I have some sympathy with those that appointed him. The owners were new and Speakman was new and they needed desperately to appoint someone who would fit in with the system. It appears their first choice was Gus Poyet and he played funny buggers. It then came down to Cowley and Johnson and they went for Johnson. No doubt he interviews well and his supposed coaching prowess and his fit with the model was the clincher. It was a big surprise/disappointment we appointed someone who had no experience of promotion but I can understand their logic.

I have no stats but I would think most managerial appointments fail or are a disappointment. I doubt Steven Gerrard will be a success at Villa. But I think one time we will hit on the right man - someone who has delivered promotion elsewhere, who is a progressive thinker and who is happy with the DOF role. The Plymouth Manager certainly on paper looks a much better bet than Lee Johnson.

I'm having a pop at no one. I just don't like seeing people winding themselves up so pointlessly. Been there, done that and I know it's not good for anyone, especially yourself.

Under Jack Ross we got to the Play Off Final so progress quite luterally has not been made.
he didnt succeed jack ross as manager he succeeded phi; parkison..thats his benchmark. your right, the club hasnt progressed since johsnon, but thats not his fault-he wasnt there for the parkisnon era.

but which way are we heading? Forward or Backwards?
Downwards with LJ.

Head coach/Manager who cannot adapt to style and gameplay, simply not good enough, the sooner he's history the better.

I coud not stomach another phase of the streak, to be up there and let it all crumble away yet again, this is twice now.
