Very strange if they buy Inter. Will they really want to spend hundreds of millions on two clubs? And although the PL has the exposure, if they want to win a CL Inter are obviously a fuck load closer so you'd imagine that's where they'd focus. Or maybe they just think there's money to be made and aren't going to be spending billions to compete with Man City. If I was a mag I'd be a bit anxious if they get inter, certainly I'd be wanting to know what their grand plan is, and even more so if they're looking at a third club

PIF have been in advanced negotiations with the Chinese owners of Inter for quite a while now with a deal expected to complete this year. PIF also looking at Olympique Marseille and a club in Brazil.

Buying the mags was a no Brainier. They were cheap, low wage/revenue ratio and profitable. Numerous mags have called me out for saying they will be flipped in five years.

Let’s see how long the ”at least Ashley has gone”, “we have our club back“….lasts. I’ve said on here before this could be absolutely hilarious.

Said to me mag mate buying Newcastle isn’t to spend shit loads to buy trophies, to get what they want they have just bought the most gullible supporters in this country and let them do their work for them.

It's a strange one because it still might be. I just can't see Saudi Arabia having a club but being happy to be average whilst an Abu Dhabi team is f***ing mint and a Qatar one in another league has Messi etc (sad that its come to this mind). Equally if they wanted to own a club PIF was probably the only vehicle they could use, so I'm not convinced it's all about making profit. That being said there are definite warning signs. Sadly the person who tweeted about inter doesn't seem particularly credible, but I know it's been mooted for ages. If they're getting a few clubs then it stands to reason they won't be focusing purely on trying to make the mags mint. If this isn't even a man City attempt and they remain pretty average in the league (even if they make the massively devalued Europa league) it will be f***ing hilarious after how readily they sold out

I think it’s probably 10 years at least too late to buy yourself into Europe etc

Everton being a decent example.

Then twats up the road I believe have pretty basic facilities, don’t own their own ground and are pretty wank as a team for the Premier League.

Am not sure spending say 1 billion to just potentially join the Europa League is worth it for them🤷‍♂️
But am hoping they spend absolutely shit loads on players and it goes tits up🙏😂

Wonder what’s happening with beheddie Howe. I’ve not heard anything today.
Make the most of it mate. When the grand reveal happens our local media will ensure we’ll never hear the end of it for a fortnight.
I’d like to think he, or someone in his backroom crew, will have some sort of sudden moral epiphany but somehow I doubt it.

Marco Barzaghi Italian sports journo just retweeted this. He has over 122k followers

basically translated,

Marco Barzaghi (@MarcoBarzaghi): According to sources close to the Saudi Investment Fund, negotiations have resumed with Suning to buy Inter, and the Saudis are determined to make an important offer this time.
