Report in Scotland’s Daily Record as to why Howe didn’t take the Celtic job after 3 months of negotiations:

“The ex-Cherries boss had agreed in principle to take the job but wanted his full backroom staff in place, including Bournemouth trio Richard Hughes, Stephen Purches and Simon Weatherstone.
It is understood that Celtic made moves and pushed the boat out for them all but some of Howe’s team didn’t want to move north”.

He loves taking a job in principle mind, never seems to get over the line.
The longer this one goes on the more likely that he’s gone back down south.

Am I being too hopeful in thinking, what I initially thought, about the true motives of Mandy and the Saudis, and their true intentions, is too premature.
Or, is it not going to be the idyllic they wore tea towels on their heeds to celebrate

18 month on Universal credit getting his rent and council tax paid for him, must be a big decision to come off benefits. 😛
