Oh yes I get that but I’d really have thought that he’d have absolutely insisted on stuff like that before even remotely hinting that he’ll accept. I’m probably over thinking stuff but I’d love to know what “in principle” really means. None of the so-called local “journos” appear to have even asked that question.

Come on. The mags are not known for their patience. He is on a hiding to nothing. I don’t feel sorry for him as he is on a 18m contract but without former glories to insulate him (KK, SBR and RB) he is very exposed.
